X Factor USA Sexy Dances Banned by Network

The X Factor USA is in trouble with the Fox Network. Overly sexy dance moves have been banned and some of tonight’s routines have had to be re-choreographed at the eleventh hour.

The dance performance intended to accompany Marcus Canty tonight was judged to be too raunchy. Fox bosses required that it be totally re-choreographed because Fox lawyers have banned the dance moves in the performance, branding the routine “too raunchy for TV,” according to a female dancer performing in it.

Brian Friedman’s choreography had pretty scantily clad women on stage and Marcus was meant to dance through their legs, but it had to be changed when Fox bosses complained. The dancers were told to cover up more and to the dance moves had to be toned down for the prime time family show.

Fox have now placed their lawyers on stage at every rehearsal to keep a check on The X Factor, which is already known for putting on controversial performances.

In the UK, Simon Cowell’s hit TV show has landed itself in trouble a few times for being too raunchy. Last year Rihanna was criticized for performing in a bikini and Christina Aguilera’s burlesque performance attracted a raft of complaints. Is The X Factor USA about to attract a load of complaints too?
