X Factor US Top 9: Voted Off Stacy Francis

The group song this week was a bit better than last week’s effort. Last week they seemed pretty weak. Lots of battling going on between the judges last night, will it be any better tonight? Or is it more cutthroat, the closer they get?

We get to watch a recap of all the performances from last night – and listen to the best and worst of what the judges had to say. Mostly the bad what Simon had to say.

The first two acts that are safe: LeRoy Bell and Lakoda Rayne.

Paula won’t have to pick off her last group tonight, two other judges will be in the hot seat! Paula tells both LA and Simon “I told you so.” Simon just shrugs it a little bit.

Then it comes time for professional head shots done on the remaining 10. Will their portraits help them move on? Maybe. But they each got a camera like the ones they just posed in front of. Cool surprise!

Rihanna shows up on stage and does a hot number for everyone.

Next acts that are safe: Chris, Melanie, Josh, Marcus. There are 6 safe and four left. Of those, two more are safe and two have to sing for survival. Do you think Stacy’s wailing last night hurt her? Did Drew’s same folksy sound kill her chances of variety?

Next two safe are: Drew and Rachel.

That means Astro and Stacy have to sing it out. Stacy who can wail and Astro who the judges say had a great chance to win are singing it out.

Who comes out and does the best?

Stacy sings Amazing Grace and sounds awesome. She has her church sound. That should make Simon happy!

Astro gets up and asks if he even needs to perform. Is he giving up? He gets up and does a personalized rap. How cool is that. Will it be enough to keep him though?

LA has to give a name and can’t decide. He sends Stacy home.

Nicole can’t decide either, but ultimately sends home Astro.

Paula tells them they are talented and sends home Stacy.

Simon has the deciding vote and tells Astro he doesn’t like his attitude. Astro says he doesn’t want to perform for people who have put him in the bottom two. That gives Simon an answer and he ends up sending Stacy home.

Stacy says she is heartbroken. She thanked the judges and says she had an amazing journey.

Stacy is really not a good singer . She has a great voice but she is more like a copycat . She has no authenticity , she is all over and for my part , i think it really hurtto listen to her singing .

I am so upset, because I was rooting for Stacy she is one of my favorites and I feel she deserves the opportunity to perform on that stage like everyone else.

This show is a JOKE! Simon needs to grow a set! Tonight was time to throw out the trash and the Judges blew it. What a sorry attitude to reward by keeping him on the show. I will watch it one more time and see is America has the common sense to get him off the show that he shouldn’t have been on to start with!!
