X Factor US 2011: Stereo Hogzz are Sent Home

Interesting group opening. The act seemed to be a bit of a mish mash…singing was OK, but the dancing seemed a little off. The whole group looked a little bit…unrehearsed. Were they too busy practicing their individual numbers to practice as a group? Next up is the review of each performance. We can see who did an outstanding job and who fell short.

Then it is announced the Pepsi contest. The audience gets to vote on the combination of singers they want to see perform together, do the choreography, pick the outfits and even the song. The performance will be on Thanksgiving week. Go vote!

Next up, Willow Smith performs. She has a song called Fireball and dances and sings pretty good. Not sure about the hair and outfit though.

Do we get to the finalists yet? Nope, Jessie Jaye performs. She has a crazy outfit on and looks like she is showing a bunch of skin, but it is nude with stripes. She sounds pretty good.

Finally, we get to find out the top 9 and the two who have to perform and go home. The bottom two vote getters have to sing and the judges pick who goes home.

These are the nine that are safe: Stacy, Astro, Melanie, Marcus, LeRoy, Rachel, Josh, Drew and last – Chris. Paula has two acts to face off against each other again. Lakoda Rayne and Stereo Hogzz. They both have to sing for survival. Who can perform the best?

Lakoda Rayne gets to sing first. The four gals get on stage after a costume change to all black. They start off with a song that sounds…awful. They start off with a solo, and then the rest of the girls join in and it sounds better…but not great. Where did this song come from? They might end up going home after this…no matter how much people liked them yesterday.

Steroe Hogzz get up there and sing a lot better. If they are going by ability alone, Lakoda Rayne is done for. Not really a comparison. Unless you compare past performances too.

LA admires both groups, but he is sending home Stereo Hogzz.

Nicole likes both of the groups too and their transformations. She is sending home the Stereo Hogzz.

Paula abstains from voting because she says she is too close to both groups. She’s crying and doesn’t know what to do. Then she votes for Lakoda Rayne to give Stereo Hogzz a chance. But then Simon still has a vote.

Simon saves Lakoda Rayne and sends home the Stereo Hogzz. What drama!
