“True Blood” season 6 spoilers have been rolling out as the show’s upcoming premiere episode of June 16 rapidly approaches. What’s ahead for the season with a tagline in its new poster reading “No One Lives Forever”?
The HBO synopsis reveals this for episode 1 titled “Who Are You, Really” on June 16:
“In the wake of Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) blood-soaked reincarnation, Sookie (Anna Paquin), Eric (Alexander Skarsgård), Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Tara (Rutina Wesley), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) flee the Authority compound as Sam (Sam Trammell), Luna (Janina Gavankar) and Emma (Chloe Noelle) dodge swarming guards. Now packmaster, Alcide (Joe Manganiello) discovers that the job comes with unsavory side dishes, but other major perks. In Bon Temps, Andy (Chris Bauer) deals with parenting four newborn human-faerie hybrids. Meanwhile, Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) vows open season on vampires. Jessica returns to Compton Place as Jason hitches a ride with an eerie stranger.”
The first two episodes will have a “pivotal death, a threesome, a Hoyt shout-out, all kinds of fancy new anti-vampire weaponry and a horrifying glimpse into the future that may or may not foreshadow [a major death.],” according to Michael Ausiello of TV Line.
TV Guide summarized what “True Blood” season 6 will entail in their own version of the spoilers to come on for the first two episodes on the show:
“To sum up the show’s return: Blood. Death. Blood. Repeat. (But that second death won’t stick.) More specifically, remember last season when Sookie and Jason discovered that someone named Warlow killed their parents? Well, suffice it to say that finding and destroying him will be at the narrative fore (particularly because of this casting).”
