‘True Blood’ Season 6 Spoilers for June 16 Premiere Episode

“True Blood” season 6 returns Sunday night for more blood-filled drama.  The first episode of the season is called “Who Are You, Really.”

TV Guide posted a synopsis of “True Blood” spoilers:

“Bill’s messy reincarnation is cause for Sookie, Eric, Jason, Jessica, Tara, Pam and Nora to flee the Authority compound. Sookie and Eric aren’t sure who or what he is and don’t want to get close enough to find out. All the while, Sam, Luna and Emma dodge the many guards. Alcide finds out what’s required of a packmaster and learns of the ups and downs that come with the job. In Bon Temps, Andy gets used to being a new father to four newborn human-faerie hybrids. The Louisiana governor declares war on vampires. A creepy stranger gives Jason a lift. Jessica returns to Compton Place.”

In other spoilers for “True Blood” season 6, the show’s producer — Brian Buckner — said one of the show’s characters won’t make it through the season.

“One of our principal characters will not make it all the way through the season,” Brian told Rolling Stone magazine. “We’re going to stop to grieve them, and try to tell the more human side of the supernatural stories we’re telling.”

The Internet is buzzing with speculations over who it will be.  It could be someone as pivotal to the show as Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) or someone less significant, but vital to the show like Jason (Ryan Kwanten) or Tara (Rutina Wesley).

Hollywood Life is going on the prediction that Eric is the one who dies because the season 6 poster that reads “No One Lives Forever” has an image of someone who looks exactly like Eric. Is this a hint of who’s going to die on later on?

Tune into “True Blood” season 6 when it premieres, Sunday, June 16 on HBO at 9 p.m., ET/PT.
