Tim McGraw Weight: Country Singer’s Drastic Weight Loss Noticed by Viewers of ACM Awards 2014

Tim McGraw’s weight was noticeably different when he appeared at the 49th annual Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night. He and wife, Faith Hill, strolled the red carpet and later sang “Meanwhile Back at Momma’s”  on-stage as part of the entertainment. Fans couldn’t help but notice that McGraw was shockingly skinny. There was trending searches online like, “Is Tim McGraw sick?” and “Tim McGraw Weight Loss” following the awards show.

There aren’t any reports addressing McGraw’s weight loss from Sunday night’s appearance in Las Vegas — other than earlier reports in regards to the country singer’s past drinking problems.

McGraw admitted last year that he was hitting the bottle harder than he should have been. Things were a bit tense at home and he wasn’t up to speed on some of his goals. Not only that, McGraw wanted to be a good example to his daughters. He wanted them to look up to him and not jeopardize his role as the father he wants to be.

Basically, when McGraw quit drinking, he chose a healthier lifestyle to adhere to. He began exercising and working out with a martial arts instructor. He completely cut sugar out of his diet. This might explain Tim McGraw’s weight loss. He’s a lot slimmer than he’s ever been, but some fans aren’t buying it. One asked why the country megastar had to sit during his duet with Faith Hill during the awards show.

If Tim McGraw is sick or has health problems due to his weight loss, no one has come out and said anything.
