In the latest of bombshell reports out about celebrities, Tim McGraw has a “secret son” that his wife, Faith Hill, allegedly knew nothing about until recently. It might seem suspicious coming from the National Enquirer, but even the son Tim has quietly maintained a relationship with spoke to the tabloid.
A source also talked to the Enquirer about why Tim kept his son a secret from Faith. The boy — named Tyler Zarbo, now 23-years-old and a student in Orlando, Florida — also gave them an exclusive interview.
“Tim McGraw was like a father to me when I was growing up,” Tyler told the Enquirer.
Tyler isn’t Tim’s biological son….he’s the son of his ex-girlfriend, Kristine Donahue. When they were together, he helped raise Tyler.
“He saw me as the son he never had, and we’ve stayed in contact,” Tyler said. “I wish he could have remained as my substitute dad, but it just wasn’t meant to be.”
Apparently Faith just learned about her husband’s relationship with Tyler and a source reveals why it took so long for her to find out.
“When they got married, Tim promised Faith that he would never lie to her, and he doesn’t,” an insider to the Enquirer. “But he doesn’t tell her everything. He keeps some secrets to keep the peace.”
If this all true, there are some things that should be out in the open. It’s admirable that Tim McGraw would still care so much about Tyler after the break up he had with his mother. Too often children are left out in the cold when one of their parents split from someone who could potentially be a step-mother or step-father.
In an updated report by People magazine, Tim McGraw’s rep — Mary Hilliard Harrington — squashed the rumors.
“The National Enquirer story is full of inaccuracies and misrepresentations about Tim and Faith. We aren’t going to comment on false statements that appear to have been sensationalized for the purpose of selling tabloid magazines.”
