The X Factor USA 2011 Top 4 Revealed!

Filed under : Celebrity News, Featured

Lenny Kravitz opens up the show.
There is a short recap of all the performances and then the judges who reveal was their best of the night before. And guess what? Three of the four judges picked Chris! The guy out of rehab. Way to go Chris!

Three performers go on and two have to sing for survival. Four will perform in the semi-finals next week. Who will be going on?

Josh is the first one to go on to the semi-finals. Chris is the second one to go in to the semi-final round. Who will be third? Instead of letting them know, we go to a commercial. Then we sit through Mary J. Blige performing.
How mean to those kids backstage!

Rachel is nervous, Melanie is nervous and Marcus seems to think the third time is the charm. He’s been in the bottom two twice already, is this his time to go?

A lot more reviewing and some stalling. Now it is finally time to find out the third one who is moving on. The judges best and worst comments are reviewed. Going through is – Melanie!

Rachel and Marcus have to sing for survival.

Marcus sings first. Didn’t he do this song last week to save himself? Why isn’t he doing another one? Or did someone else sing this earlier in the competition? Hard to say. He sings it pretty well. Not sure if it will outdo Rachel and her energy.

Rachel comes out and sings a great soul song. The crowd seems to love her a bit more than Marcus. She does do a bit better, too. In the vocal aspect anyway. But for some reason Nicole and Paula always love Marcus.

Time to vote!

LA is up first and says he can’t decide. He admits he is surprised by Rachel’s outstanding performance, but he sends home Rachel.

Simon is sending home Marcus, without much discussion.

Paula – of course likes them all – but liked one better. She said Rachel blew her away, so she has to send home Marcus.

Nicole is crying. Is she really that stressed. She says she can’t make that decision, so she goes to a deadlock. Now, it is up to how the vote went last night. It is dependent on who had the lowest votes. The lowest vote getter and going home is – Rachel.

She has a stunned look on her face and then collapsed. Steve looked like he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do., Marcus is stunned that he made it through a third time – and he should be. Three times?

Nicole is crying, because she could have saved her.

So, this is the third time Marcus has been saved when someone else seemed to sing better than him. What is up?

Nicole seems almost as inconsolable as Rachel. Why didn’t she just save her then?

Simon actually speaks this time – he knows it won’t be the last of her.

Nicole doesn’t speak and actually gets booed. Interesting. Will she get more death threats after this week like she did after sending Drew home last week? Stay tuned…

Rachel is Disney and Broadway, bound! She shouldn’t have any regrets, and neither should the judges. Chris and Josh should be nose to nose….

Wow! I am shocked to see Rachel go. But I have to say, Chris Rene blew me away this week. For the first time in a long time, X Factor wasn’t just background noise. I stopped what I was doing and really listened. The improvement in him is incredible and I loved his song. And am I the only one to think he looked really fit and healthy this show? X Factor has been good for him in many ways. I hope it’s good for Rachel, too, and she gets Disney.
