The Voice Season 2 Blind Auditions Part 4 Recap: Whose Team Are You On?

Last night we saw another round of blind auditions and another set of contestants trying to get the judges to turn around for them.

So far, the teams look like this:

Team Adam – Angel Taylor, Chris Cauley, Katrina Parker, Kim Yarbrough, Nathan Parrett, Tony Lucca and Pip.

Team Blake – Brian Fuente, Erin Willett, Gwen Sebastian, Jermaine Paul, Jordis Unga and RaeLynn.

Team Cee Lo – Angie Johnson, Erin Martin, Jamar Rogers, James Massone, Juliet Simms and Sarah Golden.

Team Christina – Team Christina – Chris Mann, Jesse Campbell, Geoff McBride, Lindsey Pavao, Moses Stone and The Line.

Have we found our winner there or were they in last night’s cohort? Let’s have a look at the new crop of talent.

Ducky (26) is a painter and an aspiring singer. No one turns around for his version of Tighten Up.

Next Brazilian native Jonathas (23) brought his wife and kids with him to watch him seek his American Dream. The judges liked him singing U Got It Bad. The first judge to turn was Cee Lo. Christina was next and was rewarded with a little dance and getting Jonathas on her team.

Monique (23) was next and she seems a really exciting talent singing Mr. Know It All. Christina is the first person to buzz, and she is really excited to work with Monique’s raw talent that can be honed into something amazing. Should be good to watch her develop.

Next, Carson went out in the street to meet a musician, Naia Kete, and personally invite her to the blind auditions. Blake and Cee Lo both like her on The Lazy Song but Naia picks the first one that picked her, Blake Shelton.

Eric (?) I think it was Eric but it’s a girl, sang Free Fallen and got the audience clapping to the tune. But we won’t need to remember her name as none of the judges turned around for her.

Charlotte was very quiet next, singing Apologize, but she caught the attention of all four judges. All turn around for her! Blake had a great time gloating when Charlotte picked to be on his team.

Tony was set on giving up a career with Green Day to have his chance to audition on The Voice, which makes it amazing to me that the only judge to turn around for him singing We Are The Champions is Cee Lo.

Anthony (33) is the son of Tony Evans, a very popular Christian pastor. He sang What’s Going On and Christina really loved his voice and was the only one to turn around.

Jamie works in a sandwich shop in Chicago and his manager surprised him with an invitation to The Voice Auditions. He has a great voice, made all the more amazing because he had to have half of one of his lungs removed due to a medical condition. I loved his take on Folsom Prison Blues and Adam turned right away, followed by Cee Lo, but he picks to be on Team Adam.

I was probably as shocked as Dylan (19) when no one turned around for him singing Valerie. His mom is a vocal coach. But he obviously needs more help.

Justin from the Carson Daly Band was next, singing Babylon. Justin is happy although only Cee Lo turns around. That’s the coach he wanted anyway.

Blake didn’t like country girl Nicolle singing You Save Me and playing the piano. In fact, only Adam did.

Eric failed to impress anyone with You Make My Dreams.

Did they save the best for last, as Mathai (16) got a standing ovation from Adam for her version of Rumour Has It.  Adam turned, Blake was next, then Cee Lo. But she chose Adam.

So who was your favorite? Did the judges miss out on turning for someone really good?
