One singer each from Adam Levine’s, Christina Aguilera’s and Blake Shelton’s and Cee Lo Green’s teams left the NBC reality TV competition last night.
But the successful singers who moved on to the next stage, the final, were: Juliet Simms, Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca and Chris Mann.
On Monday the Top 8 take to the stage to perform for their place in the final. They were not only subject to the viewer vote on Tuesday night but were also scored by their respective coaches out of a possible 100 points. The singer with the lowest combined score from each team was sent home immediately.
Longtime favourite Jamar Rogers was one of the hopefuls to be eliminated, along with Katrina Parker, Erin Willett and Lindsey Pavao.
The Voice’s season one finalists Javier Colon, Dia Frampton, Vicci Martinez and Beverly McLellan also performed on the results show.
Next Monday and Tuesday (May 7 and 8), the Top 4 will go head-to-head in the live finals on NBC, with one singer going on to become the winner of a record deal.
