In a sneak peek preview of “The Bachelorette” 2012 spoilers for week 3, Emily Maynard will certainly see an ugly side to Kalon. ABC’s Good Morning America had a video clip of what’s to come of the show on May 28th when Emily has some private time with Kalon.
As viewers are well aware, Emily is a different kind of bachelorette than the show has normally had. She’s the first single mother to star on “The Bachelorette” and is a beautiful and confident woman. When she has a heart-to-heart talk with Kalon, things get ugly fast. Kalon doesn’t like to be questioned — or interrupted. Emily manages to do both in his eyes during what’s suppose to be a nice time together.
In just two episodes of “The Bachelorette” 2012, Emily hasn’t escaped her number one priority — her six-year-0ld daughter, Ricki. With every contestant she’s had alone time with, Maynard has wanted to know their true feelings about how they could handle being a step-father to Ricki. One of the first things out of Kalon’s mouth is he wants kids of his own and finds it hard to picture himself fathering a kid that isn’t his. He’ll further add that meeting a woman who already has a young child wasn’t exactly something he wrote down in his journal when he was young. Emily has a look of disbelief on her face as he managed to effortlessly express those words.
When a brief moment of pause enters their conversation, Emily asks Kalon to consider how he would have felt had his single mother was seeing a man who told her he only wanted his own children.
Without considering Emily’s point, he shot back at her, “I love hearing you talk, but can I finish first?”
The sneak peek ended there for the week 3 episode, but what will Emily Maynard’s answer be to such a rude comment? Kalon is the villain for this season of “The Bachelorette” and he’s already made enemies. In week 2 he criticized Doug for being on the show and insinuated he left his duties as a dad to be on the show. Doug quickly pointed out that he must feel the same way about Emily leaving her responsibilities as a mom. Looks like Kalon is going out of his way to alienate everyone and he’ll succeed well. It’s just a question of how long he’ll remain on the show until Emily eliminates him for good.
