In the next episode of “The Bachelor” season 17, Sean Lowe takes his last four ladies on their hometown dates. How will they go and who will be left crying on her family’s shoulders?

This week on “The Bachelor” we are about to see Sean Lowe visit the hometowns of Desiree Hartsock, Lindsay Yenter, Catherine Giudici, and AshLee Frazier, and things get intense pretty intense as the protective families give the hopeful bachelor the third degree. Between AshLee’s dad grilling Sean about his intentions, Catherine’s sisters thinking she’s not ready for love, Lindsay’s making Sean run through basic training and Desiree’s brother accusing Sean of being a player the poor guy gets a pretty hard time.

AshLee and Sean enjoy an emotional afternoon with her family in Houston. He has a romantic picnic with him, where she again tells him she is madly in love with him. But do her adoptive parents share her enthusiasm for Sean? AshLee is such a daddy’s girl that Sean wonders if he will ever be able to gain this man’s trust.

The Bachelor isn’t received with open arms by Catherine’s family in Seattle either.

Catherine and Sean spend a relaxing day tooling around her hometown of Seattle. He even scores points with her family when he offers her grandmother a traditional greeting from the Asian culture. But not everyone is won over. Will Catherine be able to convince her mother and sisters that her feelings for Sean are for real or will they try to scare Sean away?

Lindsay’s intimidating father meets Sean on his turf – Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where he is a two-star general who runs the entire Army base. To prepare Sean for the meeting, Lindsay runs Sean through a battery of basic training drills.

Finally, Sean has a day of hiking and cooking with Desiree in Sherman Oaks, California. Desiree’s hometown date doesn’t take place in her actual hometown where her parents live in Ohio. At the time of filming Hurricane Sandy was hitting the East Coast so her date may not be her hometown, but it is where she lives now.

Despite her brother giving Sean a hard time with his disapproval and insults, all apparently goes well until Desiree’s ex-boyfriend shows up.

Going in to the rose ceremony, one woman, fearing that she might be leaving, begs to have a private word with Sean. Will it be enough to save her? Desiree Hatsock is devastated as she is eliminated and Sean and the final three women toast to heading to their next exotic and romantic destination: Thailand.
