“The Bachelor” Season 17 Premiere Spoilers

January 7th is a date for your diaries: the season premiere of season 17 of “The Bachelor”, with Sean Lowe taking his pick of the lovely ladies. Unlike the last couple of seasons, so much is already known about this upcoming season, like who the winner is. But that still doesn’t mean there isn’t a whole lot of fun to be had along the way, including roses straight from the limo and the odd Christian Grey moment!

If you like surprises and you want to find out everything about “The Bachelor” premiere as it unfolds on your screens, great – my work here is done. But for those of you who prefer a little sneaky peak at the excitement to come on Monday night, read on for some premium premiere spoilers.

Episode 1 on “The Bachelor” season 17 is in Los Angeles, CA, where 26 girls are whittled down to 19.

You can expect to see a couple of familiar faces in the “Bachelor” mansion as Arie Ludendyck Jr. shows up to film a segment with Sean about his reality TV journey. After reminiscing about Emily Maynard, Arie gives Sean pointers on kissing, so we know what “Bachelor” bad girl Courtney Robertson is enjoying these days!”

Nine girls have hometown videos: Ashley P, Kristy, Lesley, Robyn, AshLee F., Tierra, Desiree, Diana, and Sarah.

My favorite vid by far is Ashley P. telling all of us she already has a man in her life – Christian Grey from “50 Shades of Grey” and that she wishes Sean would rip off her clothes and spank her. Right out of the limo she gives him a tie. She talks about her Christian Grey/spanking obsession a lot this episode, and maybe it scared Sean off, because if Reality Steve’s spoilers are correct, Ashley P. is gone by the end of the episode. I can’t pretend that part of me isn’t sad for not being able to see how that whole Christian Grey thing would have panned out…but anyway…

Tierra LiCausi looks set to drive me insane, if her freaking out and screaming upon being told Sean Lowe is the Bachelor is anything to judge by. Yes, I know it’s exciting and all that, but I think she even tells her dog that she can’t wait to introduce them. Foreshadowing of later in the season here, folks. Beware the crazy dog woman! This one is desperate to find a husband. She even arrives in a wedding dress! I don’t get why Sean is so impressed but he obviously is. When Tierra exits, she says one sentence to Sean about her half-heart tattoo on her finger and how she’s looking for someone to close it up, and Sean tells her to wait there while he walks away. She thinks she’s getting eliminated, but he comes back with a rose.

Lindsay arrives in a wedding dress and then, worried that Sean didn’t get her wedding “joke”, she proceeds to get drunk enough that she’s slurring her words and making her 1-on-1 with Sean awkward. She admits, “I wish I was more sober” right before her 1-on-1 but she does end up getting the final rose.

AshLee Frazier’s segment is a tearjerker, talking about growing up in six different foster homes before finally settling with her current family.

Jackie and Selma were obviously tag teaming from the start, because as Jackie puts lipstick on and then kisses Sean on the cheek, Selma promptly wipes it off with as Kleenex whipped out from her ample bosom.

Robyn isn’t as agile as she likes to think, promptly falling on her head after a couple of back handsprings. Lesley brings a football and has Sean bend over and be the center while she stands behind him and checks out his ass. I kinda liked this one.

Sarah is set to be the show’s sweetheart. She did seem lovely, anyway, but she assured her place in the next few episodes at least with her comment: “I sometimes think I’m still single because I don’t have two arms.” She doesn’t, but I really hope that won’t be what Sean – or the show – focuses on.

The big surprise was probably not a surprise at all. When the 25 woman have exited their limos and met Sean, in walks Kacie Boguskie. They admit they’ve met before, which is nice and I am quite interested to see what happens between these two.

No idea why Sean likes Catherine Giudici because she barely gets any air time in the first episode. We never see her interact with Sean all night outside of her limo exit.

The 12 girls who get roses before the rose ceremony are: Tierra (the only one to get hers right out of the limo), AshLee, Desiree, Robyn, Selma, Brooke, Catherine, Katie, Jackie, Leslie H., Sarah, and Diana. Which means that that the rose ceremony eliminations are: Ashley H, Paige Vigil, Lacey Latka, Lauren Marchetti, KeriAnn Miranda, Kelly Dutton, and Ashley Palenkas.

And the 19 women remaining after the first episode are:

Tierra LiCausi
Desiree Hartsock
AshLee Frazier
Selma Alameri
Robyn Howard
Catherine Giudici
Jackie Parr
Leslie Hughes
Sarah Herron
Amanda Meyer
Lesley Murphy
Kacie Boguskie
Kristy Kaminski
Daniella McBride
Taryn Daniels
Lindsay Yenter
Diana Weeks Willard
Brooke Burchette
Katie Levans

What do you think to Sean’s choices so far (when you’ve watched the premiere!) Who are your favorite girls, and who do you want to send home already?

Even though I have read some spoilers and if they are true I know who he picks in the end, I think watching all the episodes will still be entertaining. It is amazing how some of the girls act and it makes me laugh watching them.
