The Bachelor News: Kacie Boguskie On Ben and Courtney, Finding The Perfect Man, and Bachelor Pad 3

If you ever had any doubt that Kacie Boguskie was one of the nicest contestants ever to take part in The Bachelor, her most recent interview with Wetpaint ought to dispel those doubts. In it, the Clarksville, Tennessee native spoke about Ben Flajnik’s relationship with Courtney Robertson, her own continued search for love, and perhaps most exciting of all, let slip that she would consider appearing on Bachelor Pad 3.

Kacie’s bubbly personality coupled with a tell it as it is attitude endeared her to many Bachelor fans. So it was exciting to see she told Wetpaint what she thinks of Ben Flajnik’s fiancee Courtney Robertson now The Bachelor is over, and the four things her future husband absolutely must know about her.

Since The Bachelor wrapped up its 16the season, Kacie has been teaching baton 2 to 3 nights a week. She is also a consultant for Rodan and Fields skincare line. She said she is basically trying to enjoy this unique phase in her life post-Bachelor and make the most of it.

You go, girl!

So how has The Bachelor affected her love life and dating prospects now? Apparently she has lots of random people asking her out! She admits that she is guarded, and wary of guys wanting to date her just because she is well known now. She does, however, still think it’s possible to fall in love right away, like The Bachelor almost forces you to do.

Oh and Southern boys are more chivalrous than Californian boys!

“I’m used to guys — not that Ben, didn’t but — guys who open up doors and stuff like that and not everybody does that. And I want to find the person that does that.”

Awwww!

Being on The Bachelor also taught Kacie that she wants to date a guy who shares her Christian beliefs, “someone that’s adventurous and fun and likes to try new things; someone who’s going to be my best friend [and] accepts me for all my little quirks and everything. Just somebody who I’m very comfortable with.”

I guess everyone wants that really and Kacie insists she is “low maintenance.”

“But I need 3-slash-4 things — and the fourth thing is something your mother should’ve taught you a long time ago. As long as you can [1.] take out the trash, [2.] wash the cars, and [3.] take care of the yard — I don’t care if you pay somebody to do it, get it done,” Kacie said.

And the fourth? Put down the toilet seat!

She likes the idea of living elsewhere in the US too. She is drawn by the Californian sunshine.

There are a few Bachelor and Bachelorette alumni Kacie would like to meet, after having met Jillian Harris.

“She was in town doing Extreme Home Makeover here. I’d like to meet Molly and Jason [Mesnick], they seem pretty cool. And Trista [Sutter]. Ashley [Hebert]. I mean, I don’t know, I like them all!”

She admitted to some crushes on a few contestants too, including the “awesome” Ryan Park. She is also looking forward to meeting Roberto Martinez and David Good at a Chris4Life Cancer Foundation auction. She hinted that she may be more than a little interested in dating Ryan Parks, in fact!

“He’s a great guy, y’know, and we’ll just see what happens. We live in two different places right now so that makes it hard. But… We’ll see!”

Squeal! So exciting!

So now onto what she thought of her fellow Bachelor contestants. In a word, Emily O’Brien was “witty,” Lindzi Cox was “spunky,” Ben Flajnik “quirky.”

But come on, we all just really want to know what she said about Courtney Robertson!

“Oh, God bless America. At this point, I don’t know anymore. Because I used to say one thing, but now I can’t say that because my opinion has changed. Because I think that, at the end of the day, she’s a real person and she’s gotten a lot of bad [publicity] and I don’t want to add to that. But I think Courtney is… I think they should make a new [adjective] and it’s ‘Courtney.’”

She admitted that during the show she didn’t get the Courtney and Ben relationship, but now she says she can see why they are good together. Are they? OK. But the super nice Kacie doesn’t want to judge.

I really hope they work out [and] prove a lot of people wrong… And even if it’s not what America thinks is a ‘perfect love’ — I mean, it’s their love.”

Kacie said she didn’t return to The Bachelor in Switzerland after her elimination to warn Ben off Courtney. She went for closure for herself.

“Then I figured, while I’m there, why not say something? It’s one of those things where, if I was in his position and someone had some concerns — I had no gun in the fire at that point so I was like, y’know, I’m gonna say something, and so I did. If he listened or not was up to him, but maybe he was questioning, maybe he needed to talk it out with somebody… I didn’t know. But I figured, heck, I flew across the world, I might as well say something.

I needed that closure to move on. Especially in something like this where you can’t talk to him, you can’t ask questions, and you can’t text him… So whenever I had the chance, I took it.”

Kacie says it’s wrong to think this season’s Bachelor girls were always nasty to each other and many of them are actually good friends.

So would Kacie ever do Bachelor Pad?

I’m on the fence about that one. I think it would be fun. I’ve watched a few of the previous seasons’ episodes to see what it was like and I think… I’d consider it, for sure.”

Bachelor Pad producers – sign her up now! I think she’d be great; don’t you?

Ben disappointed me emmensely when he passed Kacie over. She was perfect for him and that is when I stopped watched that stupid show. It showed me how stupid men can be and how they think with the wrong head! Literally! She was everything he needs and wants whether he knows it or now. But he chose a model over a regular sexy girl! What a dumbass!
