“The Bachelor”: Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr. Split

“Bachelor” alumni sweethearts Courtney Robertson and Arie Luyendyk Jr. have split. Arie has confirmed that the new is true and wished his ex-girlfriend well. Those of you who were looking for the unlikely scenario of wedding bells between Courtney Robertson, she-devil of Ben Flajnik’s “Bachelor” season and Emily Maynard reject Arie Luyendyk Jr. will be disappointed. The pair has gone their separate ways, both looking for more private relationships.

Arie confirmed the news recently on his Sulia page, while lending his support to her:

“Just to clear the air on dating Courtney… we are longer seeing each other. I want everyone to know she got a bad rap on ‘The Bachelor’ and truly is an AMAZING person but we just both wanted more private relationships. I wish her the best and I hope we’ll remain friends.”

Unlike Ben Flajnik, Arie refused to bad mouth Courtney at all.

Courtney Robertson has not yet commented on her recent breakup from Arie, but she did bring up her past relationship with Flajnik again on her social media page.

“What a difference a year makes. I remember exactly how I felt a year ago today…Just newly engaged and in love. The show hadn’t started to air and I was looking forward to watching our love story unfold. It didn’t play out the way it could have or the way I had hoped it would. This past year was one of the hardest years of my life, but also one of the best,” Robertson shared with her fans on Twitter.

So Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Courtney Robertson are both just looking for relationships out of the public eye, it seems. Good luck with that now after selling your souls to the reality TV devils!

Are you surprised by an Arie and Courtney break up? Or were you more surprised they got together in the first place?
