Sean Lowe of “The Bachelor” 2013 is “definitely still happy” with the outcome of the show, Chris Harrison told E! News Friday. Viewers are about to find out who Sean picks between Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter next Monday night. While they all wait for the season finale, they want to know if Sean is still with the woman he proposed to.
Chris said Sean was pleased with his decision to make Catherine and Lindsay his final two ladies. He mentioned that some of what AshLee Frazier represented was with Sean, but she was a bit too mature for him at this stage in his life.
“I think he aspires and hopes and looks to have something like AshLee represents, I think that’s what his parents have,” Chris said. “But I also think that in the end he realized he’s just not there yet, and she’s a little more mature and a little further along than he is. Catherine and Lindsay are a little younger at heart and more fancy-free, where he can think, ‘OK, that’s a little more me right now.’”
What made this season of “The Bachelor” stand out from so many others is the kind of guy Sean is.
“Sean is a really religious guy and a man of high moral fiber, which he got from his family,” Chris said. “So that’s the way the season went. If he would have been a playboy, it would have been a different season. This way it played, but I don’t think that everyone can be like that, it’s just not in him, and that made things interesting and very real.”
It’s nice to know that despite the breakdown Sean suffers at the end of the finale episode, he wound up happy with his choice.
“The Bachelor” 2013 finale airs Monday night at 8 p.m., ET/PT on ABC.
