Winners of the previous Rachel and Dave set off first on a Safari and descended 6000 feet into a crater.
But first they were told that there was a double U-turn ahead. That gaveBrandonand Rachel confidence as they know the other teams hate them. But everyone seemed to love the scenery and the wildlife. It was like they all suddenly forgot they were in a race but they did eventually make their way to the Hillary Clinton Shop.
At the first clue there was a detour to a water supply or air supply.
In water supply the teams had to help the locals get water at a communal well. In air supply they had to repair a puncture on a bicycle, the most popular form of transportation inAfrica.
Bopper and David, Rachel and Mark, Brendan and Rachel decided to do air supply. Art and JJ decided to do the water supply.
Bopper and Mark were the first to finish the challenge and make their way to Jack Stelzer’s pub and they get a message about a U-turn. It was actually a double U-turn but they decided not to turn anyone, as did Rachel and Dave.
Vanessa and Mark walked past the Hillary Clinton shop several times and eventually decided to do air.
Arriving at the pub, Art and JJ U-turned Brendan and Rachel who in turn decided to U-turn Vanessa and Ralph.
Bopper and Mark arrived at a roadblock next. They had to collect 500g of honey from the African bees. They were first to finish the roadblock and set off to the lake bed of Lake Manyara.
There was drama as Dave and Rachel double cross Art and JJ by not using the U-turn as agreed.
So Bopper and Mark arrived first at the pit stop and won a trip for two toHawaii.
Rachel and Dave were second, Art and JJ were third, Brendan and Rachel fourth, Vanessa and Ralph fifth and that made Nary and Jamie the last team to arrive. That means that Nary and Jamie were eliminated from the race.
