Teen Bride, Courtney Stodden, is good for drama on all levels. The 18-year-old hypersexual woman and her 52-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison, just wrapped “Couples Therapy” and fellow co-star, Nik Richie, has a lot more to say about her. Founder and blogger of The Dirty web site has been vocal about his disapproval of the Teen Bride’s involvement with Hutchison and the moves he believes she put on him.
“Courtney made sexual advances at me every time we were alone in the house,” Richie told Huffington Post. “She didn’t care — she even did it in front of Doug and he was cool with it. It got so bad I had to have a meeting with producers to tell her to stop because I didn’t want to go to jail.”
Viewers will recall how forward and flirtatious Courtney was with Richie during the show. She often teased him right in front of his wife, Shayne Lamas.
Nik Richie brings the Teen Bride’s mom into the mix — Krista Keller. He thinks she’s in love with Doug, not her daughter.
“I think their entire relationship in contrived. This is a desperate attempt by Courtney’s mom to use Doug to fulfill a dream and or sexual fantasy she could never have,” Nik said. “Courtney doesn’t love Doug — she is too young and too high on meds to even know what love is. I get the feeling she is hiding a lot of dark secrets. What child marries a creepy old man who courted her online and in email? That is ‘Dateline’ style.”
Keller had this to say in regards to Richie’s claims:
“He is just trying to get media through Courtney, because she is a media sensation,” Keller said. “He cannot do it on his own, and yes, you can quote me.”
Is it possible that Courtney Stodden’s mother has a thing for Doug Hutchison. She adores him and told Dr. Jenn Berman on “Couples Therapy” what a wonderful man she thinks he is. There were a few moments on-screen she was playful and flirtatious around him herself. She tends to be more a “friend” to her daughter than an actual mom.
