23-year-old country superstar Swift told April’s ‘Vanity Fair’ that at the beginning of their relationship, Harry was attentive and complimentary, assuring Taylor he wanted to be with her. But she says that soon “he was looking at every girl” they saw during their brief relationship this winter.
Taylor Swift also alleges in the interview that she caught him kissing anther girl, although she says that at the time he dismissed this as just a friendly kiss. Apparently Taylor almost called off the relationship at that point but Harry persuaded her to give him another chance.
But after the reconciliation, Harry (19) “disappeared one night, and after that it was like he just didn’t want to keep going.”
Taylor eventually broke off the relationship with Harry in January after just two months together.
She went on to make fun of the One Direction sat at the Grammys this year during her performance of ‘We Are Never Getting Back Together,’ when she began speaking in an exaggerated English accent, saying: “So he calls me up and he’s like ‘Ah still louve you’ … and I’m like ‘I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys…and we are never getting back together!’”
Taylor also fired back at critics who get at her for using her failed romances in her song lyrics, and tried claim this as some kind of girl power thing.
“For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that’s taking something that potentially should be celebrated — a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way — that’s taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist,” she said.
Do we agree? Or is it just a cheap shot at her exes?
