Taylor Armstrong Should Be In Rehab, Friends Urge

Taylor Armstrong should enter rehab to deal with her alcohol abuse, friends are telling The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star after several drunken incidents.

Viewers of the Bravo hit television show recently watched Armstrong get so drunk that she climbed into her own suitcase. In another incident not shown on the show,  Taylor was photographed stumbling out of a restaurant last week.

In this latest incident, Taylor Armstrong was seen sobbing as she left Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood last Thursday night. An eyewitness said she appeared very drunk. She couldn’t stand up without help and was being held up by her friend as she walked to the car.

Now Taylor’s closest friends have urged her to go to rehab. Apparently, she admits that alcohol has become her crutch since her estranged husband Russell’s suicide, and while coping with the strain of being a reality TV star.

Sources say that Taylor doesn’t drink every day, or during the day, and they are adamant that she doesn’t drink and drive, or drink in front of her daughter Kennedy, but they say that whenever she does drink, she gets drunk.

At the moment, although she recognizes her dependency on alcohol, Taylor is refusing to go into rehab. Friends say that the main reason for that refusal is her young daughter.

“Kennedy has already endured the loss of her father, and Taylor just doesn’t want to spend any time away from her, period,” one said.

Meanwhile, fellow Housewife, Kim Richards, Paris Hilton’s aunt, was just released from rehab. Bravo executives had issued an ultimatum to Kim, either go to rehab, or get axed from the show. But so far, the network bosses haven’t gotten involved with Taylor’s drinking problem.
