Aside from their shocking allegation that Russell Armstrong was murdered by people he owed money to, the family of the late Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star are now also accusing Russell’s estranged wife Taylor of charging over $90,000 to Russell’s credit card AFTER they separated!
These further allegations were voiced by Russell Armstrong’s mother last night in an interview with Jane Velez-Mitchell on HLN. John Ann Hotchkiss, Russell’s mother, said she knew that Taylor charged excessive bills to her son’s credit card, worsening his financial woes.
John Ann Hotchkiss alleges that $90,000 was put on his American Express credit card in June, not by him, but by Taylor Armstrong. That is after the two had split up and Taylor had begun divorce proceedings against Russell Armstrong.
Again, Hotchkiss stressed that although she did not know what motive there might have been for her son’s death, she believes he was murdered and that he did not commit suicide.
As we previously reported, the Los Angeles County Coroner reached a decision that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong’s death was as a result of hanging and ruled that it was a suicide.
In the wake of Russell Armstrong’s suicide and despite threats from his family to sue if the deceased reality TV star was mentioned, the season two premiere of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drew in an impressive 2.2 million total viewers which is a 42 percent increase from the season one premiere.
Neilsen Media Research data shows a rise of almost 51 percent in the 18-49 year old demographic, the target audience for a show, with 1.5 million adults tuning in to the premiere.
The network chose to address the sensitive subject of Russell Armstrong suicide in August by having all the housewives, except Taylor, open the show with emotional tributes to their former co-star. Russell Armstrong has been completely edited out of the first few episodes but the executives have decided to air footage of Taylor and Russell Armstrong’s marriage counseling sessions, as both of the stars agreed to have the sessions filmed, although Russell’s individual sessions are likely to hit the cutting room floor.
Who knows if Russell Armstrong’s family will be happy with that.
