Emily Maynard (25) won Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor, he proposed, they got engaged, but then they broke up soon after.

Now Emily has been cast in the next edition of the dating show, which is scheduled to start filming in March.

Sources say that that production will actually change to accommodate the single mother. Instead of shooting in Los Angeles, the contestants will try to win Emily’s affections in her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina. Emily lives in the southern city with her daughter Ricki (6).

ABC has not commented on the casting news. But do you think Emily is a good choice for the next Bachelorette?

Another side of the reports has emerged which suggests Kasey was doing much more than “being too loud” with his friends, as was previously reported. New claims also suggest that, contrary to what his rather smiley mug shot suggests, he was “belligerent” while in custody.

The latest reports to emerge about the incident say that Kasey Kahl punched a woman in the face at a Fresno nightclub, giving her a bloody nose. That’s what the victim says, while Kasey himself is adamant that it was all in self-defense.

Kahl was arrested early Sunday morning for drunk and disorderly conduct at Club Habano’s nightclub.

According to the police report, which TMZ claim to have seen, Kahl was accused of attacking Richard Chaney outside the club and then hitting Chaney’s girlfriend, Renee Idsinga, in the face when she tried to break up the fight.

Cops say Chaney’s girlfriend told them she and Cheney were leaving the club when a “very intoxicated” Kahl approached them and began “talking s—“ about having had sex with one of Renee’s friends.

Kasey allegedly got violent when told to “stop being a d–k and stop talking to her.” He allegedly hit Chaney several times in the face and head. He is also said to have struck Renee in the face during the altercation, causing her nose to bleed. She also admitted she scratched Kahl’s neck in an effort to break up the fight.

Cops say Renee’s nose and Chaney’s mouth were still bleeding when they arrived on the scene. Kahl claimed self defense.

The police report from the arresting officer noted that “Kahl made it a point to tell me that he was a celebrity and he was on several reality shows including ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘Celebrity Couple’s Retreat.’”

Initially, both Kahl and the couple wanted to press charges, and Kahl was so “intoxicated and belligerent” that they felt he couldn’t take care of himself, so they booked him into Fresno County Jail for his own safety. He was eventually released, apparently without charge, after taking his very smiley mug shot.

The arrest took place in Fresno, California (which just happens to be Kevin Federline’s hometown). The arresting cops said he was drunk and disorderly at a nightclub.

Kasey Kahl, who recently appeared on Bachelor Pad 2, was allegedly involved in an incident at the Club Habanos. Kasey and his friends were hanging out outside of the club where police officers allegedly thought they were being too loud.

The group were taken to a nearby police station and released a few hours later. No charges were filed against him. Kasey was apparently “extremely respectful and very cooperative with the police officers despite the situation,” according to a rep. He and the police even had a laugh over “the prettiest mug shot they’ve ever seen.”

Kahl just finished taping the inaugural season of VH1′s upcoming Relationship Rehab with his former girlfriend Vienna Girardi.

When Emily Maynard broke up with Brad Womack and their Bachelor relationship disintegrated before our eyes, many people hoped for another reality TV fairytale for her. But seriously, would the 25-year-old want to subject herself to another televised love search, they reasoned.

Well, according to Life & Style, she does. They are reporting that Emily Maynard has brushed herself off and hopped right back on the horse that threw her. She is said to be very close to signing on to be the next Bachelorette.

An insider told the magazine that it is basically a done deal. She may not have yet signed a deal to feature on the show, but she is said to be very keen on the idea.

Maynard, who has a 6-year-old daughter, Ricki, announced her split from Womack just four months after the Bachelor finale. At that time she tweeted that she had no interest in being the next Bachelorette, but they do say that time heals all wounds and so perhaps time has healed some of her wounds.

The reality TV couple made the January cover of In Touch under the banner of “Bachelorette Exclusive! Ashley & JP’s Dream Wedding.”

Inside, the couple reveal that they are to have an outdoor wedding. The bride will wear a high-collared vintage gown and their hand written vows will be “deeply personal,” exchanged in front of only their closest friends and family. There will be no massive pay check for a reality TV wedding for this couple (although we still ope for a really nice photo deal!)

Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum are living a fairytale and are about to have the wedding to match it. It’s amazing, considering that shows like The Bachelorette and The Bachelor seem to grab more headlines these days fot matching up couples who just don’t last the distance.

But Ashley says she and JP are different. He is her “best friend” and the love of her life, she told the magazine.

Now isn’t that a nice thing to hear heading in to the holiday period?

Ferris, who owns and art gallery, and Schefft, had a beautiful, glamorous Los Angeles themed wedding ceremony at the Roosevelt Hotel, planned by Beverly Hills based event planners JOWY Productions. Their post-wedding brunch was held on the rooftop of the London Hotel.

Guests for the pre-wedding dinner arrived on a red carpet to true Hollywood glamour, with four rotating Kleig movie lights. They were photographed and received copies later in the evening. The photos were also included in a guest sign-in book where everyone wrote Natasha and Jerry a message next to their photograph.

The marquee was branded as Sunrise to Sunset Starring Jerry & Natasha and inside there was playing the premiere of an original film made by Jerry & Natasha. Dancing waiter served speciality drinks and food stations were inspired by on-set food trucks.

DJ Jasepi spun the decks all evening.

For the Saturday wedding at the Hollywood Roosevelt, the ceremony was held in the round in the hotel foyer.

The wedding dress was by Kenneth Pool and the bride carried a deep red rose bouquet while the bridesmaids wore all black and carried all white rose bouquets. The groom was dressed in a D&G tuxedo.

The cocktail reception was held at Teddy’s followed by the main reception in the Blossom Ballroom where the 1st Academy Awards was held in 1929. The décor was all black and white with accents of mirror, teak wood and lots of candlelight. There, the ate a three-course dinner of Natasha Goss and Jerry Ferris’ favorite foods, entertained by a ten piece band, the James Gang Encore. Late night snacks of sliders, mini dogs and sweet potato and regular French fries.

As if that weren’t enough excitement for one Bachelorette contestant’s wedding, Sunday brunch was held at The London West Hollywood rooftop before the bride and groom set off on their honeymoon.

Season 7 Bachelorette Ashley Hebert and her fiancé JP Rosenbaum headed to Madanowhere, Maine for a Labor Day weekend party with Ashley’s family. This is the weekend that Ashley said was her best surprise since becoming engaged: a weekend home to visit her family.

She enjoyed seeing the “city boy in a small town!”

How cute is that! Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum are fast becoming my favorite Bachelor/Bachelorette couple of all time.

The couple arrived in town September 2 and, exhausted from their travels, took an little afternoon nap. It seems someone close to them got busy with their camera! But they were honourable with the snap and left it to Ashley to distribute the cute pic.

Ashley Tweeted the adorable photos of the two sleeping beauties with the following message: “Family nap. happy to be home. )) can you spot boo?

Well, yes, we can see Boo and the cat looks rater comfortable too, snuggled up with the “family”. Isn’t it nice how quickly these two are talking in terms of family? But we can also see a rather freaky doll in the photo too. What’s that all about!

So, you know who my favorite couple is from all the Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons: Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum. But who is yours?

Ashley Hebert has moved into JP Rosenbaum’s New York apartment and has her mind set on decorating a room for a future baby. She even posted a photo of a beautiful nursery on her Pinterest inspiration board.

So, is there already a little Ashley or J.P. on the way for the engaged reality TV show couple? Not yet, but Life & Style magazine has reported on baby names that the celebrity couple favour.

Jordan Paul Rosenbaum (JP to you and I) has no plans to name a son after himself, even though he would really like to have two boys. His preferred name for a son is Peter.

And Ashley Hebert is just as keen as J.P. to start a family. She wants a daughter, whom she would like to name Skylar. That seems a great name to me and although there is nothing wrong with Peter as a name for a boy, I was hoping for something a little more original or trendy for a son from my current favorite reality TV couple. Weren’t you?

Apparently, both Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum have been focused on starting a family together for some time. An insider revealed that Hebert has been ready for baby even before her infamous Bachelor days with Brad Womack. And Rosenbaum is older than Hebert, so his friends mostly all have families and kids.

“He used to talk to the other guys in the Bachelorette house about how cute their kids would be. He loves talking about their future family,” a source confirmed.

Too bad no scenes of Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum chatting about what their kids would look like ever made the cut for The Bachelorette episodes. I would have loved to see the reactions from the other contestants.

Hopefully Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum can defy The Bachelor and The Bachelorette break-up curse, stay together and eventually get married, so their hypothetical baby talk can become reality.

Ashley Hebert apparently pans to watch Bachelor Pad 2 tonight at Ashley Spivey’s home. She Tweeted that she also might bring a special guest for their ladies night. JP Rosenbaum responded to Shawntel Newton’s post about cinnamon gum.

Jackie Gordon, also from the show, will join Ashley Hebert and Ashley Spivey Monday night for the week 5 episode. It seems a girls night in is their usual way of enjoying Bachelor Pad 2 on TV.

Elsewhere, JP Rosenbaum Tweeted his views on cinnamon gum when Bachelor 2011 finalist Shawntel Newton mentioned him in a post about Big Red gum:

“I have a confession, I don’t like cinnamon candy/gum, but I love the spice!”

So, now we know that the happy couple Ashley and JP keep up with their friends from their seasons on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. JP hung out with Ames Brown recently and Tweeted about the two of them catching up. That has to be reassuring for Bachelor and Bachelorette fans to see one relationship going well and see the couple still keeping in contact with their old friends from the show.

So we know what Ashley Hebert will be doing tonight – watching Bachelor Pad 2 with her Bachelorette and Bachelor friends before going home to loving Partner JP Rosenbaum. Will you also be tuning in to Bachelor Pad 2 tonight?

“They think he’ll be ratings gold,” an insider told the magazine.

His supposed date with actress Jennifer Love Hewitt on August 6 just added to his credentials as reality TV gold. Ben and Jennifer were spotted together in San Francisco, which revved up the rumor mills engines and had several sites reporting that the two had become a couple, so Jennifer Love Hewitt was obliged to publicly deny the relationship.

She started it all herself, of course, Tweeting some humorous messages about Ben. These messages were then taken out of contest and blown out of all proportion by some more unscrupulous web journalists.

“I have nothing to say except I’m totally single,” Jennifer Love Hewitt told Ryan Seacreast Wednesday on his102.7 KIIS FM show.

Well, Jennifer’s loss is our gain. Now we can look forward to Ben as our next Bachelor USA. He’ll have 25 new women to choose from on the upcoming season of ABC’s hit Bachelor series!
