The pop star posted several photos of her time in the California desert, via Instagram. She posed with Snoop Dogg and Warren G and hung out with Katy Perry. But it was the photos where she seems to be posing with drugs that caused most controversy.

In one photo, 24-year-old singer is sitting on top of a bodyguard’s head, rolling a cigar leaf full of marijuana. Rihanna’s fans are not impressed. Others show her with a white, powdery substance.

From Coachella, Rihanna went to Hawaii. Her provocative photo sharing continued as she took to Facebook to post a photo of her getting ready to snorkel and a series of topless photos from a waterfall. Presumably, though, Rihanna’s fans like these photos a lot more than the Coachella ones.

Ashton Kutcher and Rihanna’s late night meeting at the start of this week wasn’t the pair’s first date. Rihanna was also spotted last week leaving the Two and a Half Men star’s home in the early hours of the morning, after being there for four hours.

Ashton and Rihanna were introduced at a mutual friend’s party, and an insider has revealed that they were immediately flirting with each other and soon swapped telephone numbers. Soon they were texting and arranging to meet. It’s claimed that they had a love tryst at a Santa Monica hotel a few weeks ago.

Rihanna has apparently told friends that Ashton is funny and cute.”

Demi Moore announced her split from Ashton last November following reports he’d cheated and Rihanna is again working with her former boyfriend Chris Brown, despite his violent attack on her from two years ago. So their past relationships are a little complex but it seems they are both moving on. Together

Rihanna now reportedly wants to spend the summer with Ashton and seems to think they have a serious future together, according to her friends.

The idea allegedly sickens Demi Moore because she feels the new romance cheapens her former marriage to Ashton Kutcher even more. But does it?

They are both technically free agents so what do you think of a relationship between Ashton Kutcher and Rihanna? Surprised? Has Demi Moore any right to feel “sickened” by it?

Rihanna has denied there is any romantic intention in their relationship and Chris has sought to assure his girlfriend of the same thing. But do we believe them?

Rihanna, who is performing at tonight’s Brit Awards, has collaborated with the R&B star on a remix of his new single Turn It Up. They have also teamed up for an X-rated remix of her song Birthday Cake, which includes some lewd rapping from Brown.

The start of the song is,

“Girl I wanna f— you right now. Been a long time, I’ve been missing your body.

Let me turn the lights down, when I go down it’s a private party, ooh, it’s not even her birthday but I wanna lick the icing off.

Give it to her in the worst way. Can’t wait to blow her candles out.”

To which Rihanna responds,

“It’s not even my birthday, but you wanna put your name on it, oh baby I like it, it’s so exciting, don’t try to hide it, I’m gonna make you my b—-.”

Rihanna also thanked Chris for his birthday Tweets to her yesterday, in which he referred to her by her birth name of Robyn. Does she still have feelings for the guy who beat her? Later in the song she sings,

“Remember how you did it? If you still wanna kiss it, then come and get it.”

The remix of Chris’ new song Turn It Up is a lot family friendlier.

But Rihanna fans have taken to social networking sites in droves to express their disgust and disbelief that she would ever again contemplate a relationship with Brown.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown is enjoying a vacation in Miami with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, who showed off her bikini figure as she relaxed on the beach.

Apparently, Karrueche is not concerned about the reports Chris is reuniting with Rihanna or that he turned up to her birthday party last week. The couple are now living together and Chris whisked Karrueche away to Miami to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

The editor of a Dutch magazine has apologised to Rihanna over a racist comment made in the publication. However, he insisted that it was meant as “a joke.”

In the latest issue of Jackie, the Umbrella hit maker was referred to as a “n–ger b-tch.” The comments caused outcry from readers who were shocked by the article.

Editor-in-chief Eva Hoeke used the magazine’s Facebook page to apologise for the remark.

She insisted that the author meant no harm and intended the title of the article as a joke, but she admitted “it was a bad joke, to say the least.” She personally shouldered the blame for letting the comment get to publication.

She said no racist slurs were intended,  but said that it was naive to think that this was an acceptable form of slang.

“You hear it all the time on TV and radio, then your idea of what is normal apparently shifts,” she said.

But does your idea of what is normal shift that far?

Rihanna was less than impressed with the apology and launched a series of angry Tweets slating Hoeke for the article.

She said.

“I hope u can read english, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights! I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!! You ran out of legit, civilized information to print! You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made no sense…’N**GA B**CH’?!….Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you…F**K YOU!!!”

Well said, Rihanna?

Barbados-born Rihanna has spent the last five years rising to the top of pop stardom. Her club anthems are famous across continents and she is never far away from internet headlines. But as well as her music, she’s well known for her dance moves that ooze eroticism. She slithers and slides like it all comes naturally to her.

And to her, it’s no big deal.

“At the end of a concert, I don’t feel like I’ve been this sexy thing. Really, I don’t even think about it,” she tells Esquire magazine, which is carrying the photo of Rihanna naked.

She can’t be serious, surely? Well, she does admit she can be sexy when the song calls for it, like S&M or Skin. Oh and she has a section in her show called Sex and pulls men out of the audience to bump and grind with them at her concerts.

Yeah, Rihanna does sexy well, but she says it is all subconscious, she says in the interview, but going on,

“I could see What’s My Name? — the dancing is pretty sexy. Rude Boy.”

So, actually, most of your songs are sexy then, Rihanna?

She was more open in her Glamour magazine interview this month, where she admitted that she was being sexy. But it isn’t her, Rihanna. It’s all the characters she plays that are sexy.

She also spoke out about the 2009 attack by Chris Brown, her then boyfriend. She says she likes the music he makes now and he has down well for himself, “even when the world seemed like it was against him.”

Yes, Rihanna knows how to market herself very well indeed, and her body speaks very articulately for her. Is she or is she not the sexiest woman alive?

The “California King Bed” singer will be the island’s tourism ambassador, participating in a series of advertising campaigns and make promotional appearances to raise the profile of tourism in the country.

Her role as a tourism ambassador starts on August 5. One of her “Loud” tour dates will be in Bridgetown, Barbados. It is being jointly produced by Rihanna’s record label Roc Nation and the Barbados Tourism Authority.

“Rihanna is a great source of national pride to Barbados and we are thrilled to enter into this formal partnership to promote Barbados as a leading tourist destination,” said the Hon. Richard L. Sealy, Barbados’ minister of tourism.

Rihanna (23) was recently criticized for her new music video for “Man Down,” with parenting groups arguing that the promo accepts murder and vigilante violence. Undaunted, Rihanna thanked her critics for the success of the video after the complaints gave her so much free publicity.

Hopefully, in her role as tourism ambassador, Rihanna will only be attracting the right kind of publicity to Barbados.

Russell Brand, the star of “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “Arthur” had entered the country as part of the tour entourage for the “I Kissed a Girl” hit-maker. However, it is alleged that he was held by immigration officials and then deported from Japan because he has a criminal recorded dating back over ten years.

Katy Perry was angry about the deportation. She Tweeted, “My husband got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyodreamscrushed.”

However, Perry vowed that “the show must go on” and that she still loves her Japanese fans.

Russell Brand has never hidden his past drug addiction, which have led to legal problems. He was also arrested last year (September 2010) for clashing with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport.

He took his deportation from Japan with his trademark good but quirky humor.

“Planning escape from Japanese custody. It’s bloody hard to dig a tunnel with a chopstick. Stockholm syndrome kicking in. Just asked my guard out for (vegetarian) sushi. He giggled.”

Later, it appears that Brand was out of custody and perhaps back in the US where the couple live. He Tweeted,

“Alcatraz! Shawshank Redemption! And now this! Ah, sweet blue bird of freedom!”

The deportation for Brand and Perry must be a major disappointment. Japan holds a special meaning for them. While they were preparing their marriage last year, there were rumors that the wedding would be held in Tokyo; when it was revealed that they would marry in India, Rihanna publicly considered giving the pair a honeymoon in the Japanese capital.

The controversial singer took to the Dancing with the Stars 2011 stage tonight where he performed two of his hit songs “Yeah 3X” and “Forever.”

The performances were nothing short of amazing (other than the fact that he clearly lip synched the songs) with incredible dance moves, unbelievable choreography and endless amounts of energy.

Chris has been in the headlines this past week after he smashed a window in the Good Morning America building after he felt he was interrogated by interviewer Robin Roberts during an exclusive interview.

He may have had everyone talking about whether or not he’s fully recovered from the Rihanna incident but if these performances are any indication, his career is back on track.

The audience welcomed Chris with open arms and applauded loudly after his incredible performances. I’m as skeptical as the next person when it comes to whether or not Chris Brown is sincere in his recovery but even I have to admit that he seems to be better than ever when he takes the stage.

Fellow musician Suga Shane spoke up in defense of his friend, saying:
“It’s better Chris Brown did it to a window rather than a person.”

A studio representative said:
“The police weren’t called, and unless ABC decides to call the NYPD, no action will be taken against Brown, who is still on probation.”

It seems they are not going to do that, since no-one actually saw Chris break the window. That seems to have been a lucky escape for Brown who is on 5 years’ probation for his felony assault conviction after an attack on Rihanna.

“He’s a cool regular guy until someone pushes his buttons,” his friend Suga said.

But what then? His buttons get pushed and he turns into a violent room trashing, woman beating psycho? It’s not much of a brag!

After the incident, Chris Brown tweeted, “the media is just trying to bring you down… DONT LET THEM!!!!!” He just didn’t want to answer anything about the Rihanna incident, feeling that it was closed and that he was paying his dues there.

Yeah, don’t let them ask you questions you already approved, huh? Sheesh! But Brown has been praised by Judge Patricia Schnegg, as a “model probationer” who is getting through his domestic violence counseling. That next session could be interesting. Is somebody going to ask him about “Good Morning America”!

Not only is the singer making headlines for the release of his new album F.A.M.E but he’s also causing a media stir after it was announced he had an off-camera meltdown after his appearance on Good Morning America this morning.

Just before flying off the handle, Brown – who most of you will remember was charged for beating up Rihanna in 2009 – sat down for an interview with GMA’s Robin Roberts. Throughout the interview, Roberts kept bringing the conversation back to Chris’ past behavior, which didn’t sit so well with him.

Chris remained composed during most of the interview, insisting to Robin that he’s moved on and is trying to move past his actions from 2009 but after the cameras stopped rolling, Brown reportedly trashed his dressing room, threw a chair through the window (which resulted in shards of glass falling on the New York street below), ripped off his shirt and stormed out of the building.

Someone who’s trying to convince the world that they no longer have anger issues and have learned to control their actions probably shouldn’t have a full-blown, public meltdown that involves throwing objects and putting others in danger – just sayin.’

Despite his antics, many of Brown’s fans showed their support on Twitter.

So, we have to ask: Were Chris’ actions today out of hand or did GMA deserve to have their dressing room trashed for asking such intense questions during an interview?
