The ABC hit show has seen its fair share of drama throughout the seasons (everyone remembers Jason Mesnick’s split decision last season, right?) and this season of The Bachelorette is no exception.

Many loyal fans questioned Ed’s sincerity when he was on the show. Who could blame them? After all, Ed did leave the show for a week because he claimed he would be fired if he stayed on the show. Well, contradicting reports have now surfaced, revealing that Ed slept with two women while on hiatus from the show.

Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffan have both come forward with claims that Ed cheated on Jillian during his one-week stint. To add more fuel to the fire, Ed’s supposed ex-girlfriend (Johnson) insists that she and Ed had sex 8 days after he proposed to Jillian. According to the jilted ex, Ed made it seem as though he left the show without a relationship with Jill.

Meanwhile, Jillian is playing dumb to the whole situation. Not only is she staying with Ed, she’s insisting that the women are lying about their rendezvous with the sleaze ball. “It’s not possible,” said Jillian when asked about Ed’s sexual activities with the two other women.

Open your eyes, Jillian. You picked a douchebag. I bet Kiptyn and Reid seem pretty good now, don’t they. What are we talking about…even Wes seems like an angel compared to this dirt bag.

Jill’s choice was between two men – two very different men. First, you had Kiptyn, the realist; the man who was clearly falling in love with her but maybe at a slower pace than most men who come on the show. Kiptyn was ready to propose to Jillian and finally said those three magic words she’d been hoping to hear but it appears he was moments too late.

On the other hand, you have Ed. Ed made the decision quite early on that his career was more important to him than Jillian. He was given an ultimatum from his boss at work to either go home and get back to work – or to lose his job. After, what he claimed to be, a lot of thinking, Ed decided to ditch Jillian and head back home. A week later, Ed strolled back into Jillian’s life and Jillian couldn’t be happier.

In the end – much to the dismay of many fans – Jillian chose Ed.

To us, there was always something a little off with Ed. We’re not sure whether it was the fact that he couldn’t make up his mind about where he wanted to be or if it had something to do with the fact that every time he touched her, he seemed like he was afraid of breaking her – but either way, he definitely rubbed us the wrong way.

So in the end (even despite Reid’s return) Jill chose Ed and they supposedly are about to live happily ever after. But will their relationship even last long enough for the couple to make their first public appearance during tonight’s After the Final Rose special? Only time will tell.
