Pavelka will host the Chippendales shows at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas beginning on February 23.

But in case you were getting really excited there for a minute, reality star Jake will not actually be stripping off during these shows.  He also won’t have to wear the trademark Chippendales black cuff and collar.

Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is another reality TV star who has previously hosted Chippendales strip shows.

Jake (34) originally came to the public’s attention as a contestant on the fifth season of The Bachelorette.

Although not chosen, he proved so popular with viewers that he was brought back as The Bachelor and he asked contestant Vienna Girardi to marry him in the 14th season finale. However, Girardi and Pavelka never actually married and eventually split up in June 2010.

Since the acrimonious break-up, the two have traded public insults, and last fall Pavelka said that he was disappointed by Girardi’s attitude when they were reunited on Bachelor Pad season 2.

Jake, the former star of The Bachelors; on The Wings of Love is now in a relationship with Ashley Ann Vickers. The model competed on the second season of CMT’s Sweet Home Alabama, a reality dating series much like The Bachelor, which is on our TV screens at the moment.

The second season of Sweet Home Alabama, in which Vickers is competing was filmed this summer and premiered on October 20. The fourth episode aired on Friday night and saw Vickers surviving bachelor Tribble Reese’s latest eliminations and advancing to his next round of dates.

Jake Pavelka (most recently seen in Bachelor Pad 2 this past summer) and Vickers, reportedly met while filming The CW’s short-lived reality show H8R. They were spotted enjoying the day together Saturday on a beach in Hawaii.

Pavelka presented his final rose to Girardi and she accepted his marriage proposal during finale of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love, which aired in March 2010 and was filmed the prior fall. However, the couple split acrimoniously three months later.

Girardi began dating Kasey Kahl, a bachelor of the sixth-season The Bachelorette eight months ago and the couple moved in together in August after competing on Bachelor Pad 2 alongside Pavelka. While Pavelka is reportedly in a new relationship, Girardi and Kahl announced their split via separate Twitter postings this past weekend.

The pilot, Jake Pavelka, always claimed he was on Bachelor Pad 2 to talk to his former fiancé Vienna Girardi. Their relationship ended badly and he maintained he wanted time to talk to her properly and sort out their problems, even though she was on the show with her new partner, Kasey Kahl.

However, an insider has refuted that, saying all Jake Pavelka wanted to do was make a bit of money and to make himself look better.

“I don’t believe he was there to apologize. He was there to put a Band-Aid on his image and make a buck at Vienna’s expense,” the insider said.

OK, so we have anticipated that motivation. But among the further claims are that Jake was paid $20,000 for four episodes (which would not be that shocking, since he is the most famous person on the show).

But what about allegation that the producers of Bachelor Pad 2 helped to engineer events in the show in order to keep him in Bachelor Pad 2 for as long as possible?

Of course the producers did just that! The show obviously wants Jake Pavelka around as long as possible, even though they must have known he wouldn’t win.

Remember the twist in the second episode when two girls were eliminated?

But are the claims of the producers fixing Bachelor Pad 2 in order to favor Jake Pavelka a big deal? The producers make the show and they call the shots. So are these “fixing” claims a whole lot of jealousy directed at Jake Pavelka?

Vienna revealed that the couple found love on Bachelor Pad 2 and they have moved into an apartment together and are enjoying starting to furnish it to their tastes.

“We will eventually get engaged, yes… We’re just step by step right now,” Vienna Girardi said.

But she said se loves living with Kasey Kahl and says that the only serious fight they ever had was about being apart!

“We have an amazing relationship. We really are so happy together!” she revealed.

Girardi also stated that like Ashley and J.P., she and Kahl do “everything together.”

Kasey Kahl made that even clearer as he elaborated that he is happy just to sit at home and relax with Vienna. He also revealed that she is a great cook and he loves it when she makes meals for them.

Hopefully, Vienna Girardi and Kasey Kahl’s relationship will be more successful than her previous one with The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka. That disastrous relationship ended publicly in flames. There was a lot of speculation about whether or not Girardi and Pavelka were even truly an item. Fortunately, the love between Bachelor Pad 2’s Vienna and Kasey seems genuine

And what kind of wedding are they planning to have one day? Either Disneyworld, the Magic Kingdom or a destination wedding and fly people into a island, according to Vienna Girardi. They may even consider doing their own reality TV show too! Kasey Kahl is sure it would be a big hit if they did.

“If the opportunity is presented, we’ll check it out together.”

So what were the highlights of tonight’s episode?

Blake and Holly – Blake and Holly seem to be hitting it off despite Holly receiving a rose from her former fiancé Michael and Blake receiving a rose and making out with Melissa. Guess we’ll see where this goes (spoiler alert, Holly and Michael team up at some point since they make it pretty far this season).

Gia – Gia seemed to have things together for the majority of this episode but her paranoia got the best of her and she ended up ruining her game completely. Once she realized there was no turning back, she got hammered and walked off the show.

Ames and Jackie – Despite Gia’s self-elimination, there was still one woman sent home tonight. That woman was Jackie but she didn’t leave alone. After he limo began pulling away from the mansion, Jackie’s love interest Ames (from Ashley Hebert’s season) went running after it, jumped in and left the show.

Told there was a lot of drama tonight!

So who actually makes it far this season?

Girardi and Pavelka got engaged at the of “The Bachelor” Season 14 last year. But things quickly went wrong between them and the couple split just a few months later. Now the two are back in the same house, if not reunited, for “Bachelor Pad 2.” And to add spice to the mix, also in the house is Girardi’s boyfriend Kasey Kahl.

“Good Morning America” this morning showed a clip of Pavelka complaining to housemates that Girardi has been campaigning to get him off the show all week.

Girardi defended herself by saying it was “a very awkward situation” being in the house with both Jake and her boyfriend, Kasey. She is also playing a game and being strategic. Jake is clearly a good competitor. He won the first challenge.

“You have to look at it as a game also. There is good reason to have him off the show!” a defensive and clearly threatened Vienna protested.

Well, at least she’s being honest!

Last week, Pavelka and Jackie Gordon won a date after the pair beat Girardi and Kahl in the first challenge. Jake has made a big deal of saying that he is only in the house at all to get chance to speak with Vienna and sort out some of the problems between them.

It looks like this isn’t working very well, but there’s always tonight’s episode. If you don’t want to find out any more, stop reading now.

The challenge tonight in “Bachelor Pad 2” is called “Target on my Back.” Contestants must answer questions such as “who is least deserving of the $250,000?” and “who are you least attracted to?” You just know it’s going to get nasty, especially as contestants have to answer by throwing a paint ball at a target on the individual in question’s back.

There will also be three-on-one dates to a haunted hospital or a night on a private yacht.

Last week, the season premiere saw Justin “Rated R” Rego from Ali Fedotowsky’s season of “The Bachelorette” and Alli Travis from Brad Womack’s second run on “The Bachelor” become the first two contestants to leave.

“Bachelor Pad 2″ airs tonight at 8/7c on ABC.

Pavelka and cast-mate Jackie Gordon won immunity from elimination after triumphing in an endurance challenge, and their prize included the opportunity to ensure one other housemate was safe from elimination. Vienna Girardi was given that lifeline.

There appears to be no love lost between the ex-couple of Vienna and Jake, who were once engaged to be married, so why did he save her? Apparently, all her drama towards him is an act that Jake can see right through.

He was the one who, you may remember, chose Vienna on the 14th season of “The Bachelor” and then watched his relationship fall apart in a very public fashion. So Jake has a lot of sympathy for Kasey, whom Vienna is currently dating.

“I was in your shoes Kasey – run!” he joked. At least, I think it was a joke!

OK, so I’m still not seeing why he saved Vienna from elimination. Are you?

Jake said Vienna would “absolutely do anything for fame.”

Well, duh – you don’t exactly appear on “The Bachelor” to melt into a quiet live in suburbia, do you?

So with all this bad feeling between them, why did Jake save his fame-hungry ex from elimination on Monday’s show? It seems he knew that everyone on “Bachelor Pad 2” wanted Vienna Girardi out, but he couldn’t let that happen, because, as he says,

“I needed that moment with her.”

To do what, exactly?

“It was me saying, ‘I’m going to save you, you’ll get to be around and stick with Kasey,’” Jake said. “Also, ‘Here’s an olive branch, let’s go talk.’” Pavelka said that he couldn’t allow Girardi to go home early because he wanted to talk to her about what has happened between them since “The Bachelor.”

He tried to be a gentleman, asking Kasey to accompany Vienna as he told her a few things he knew she probably didn’t want to hear.

The “Famous Food” star had previously told reporters that his primary motivation for entering the show was to talk with Girardi, and that if he won the $250,000 prize, he would donate it all to disaster relief. He visited tornado hit areas and was struck by how the disaster made his own problems seem miniscule.

What? Even dealing with Vienna Girardi? What do you think – was Jake Pavelka right to save her?

The first episode brought a lot of drama and excitement and definitely did not disappoint fans. From Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi’s failed relationship to Michael Stagiano and former fiancé Holly Durst’s on-again/off-again spark, there’s no denying there will be lots of fireworks this season.

Some of my personal favorites this season include Michelle Money and Graham Bunn – who actually make it to the final four along with Michael and Holly.

I’m happy to report that Justin Rego (the guy who kept calling and texting his girlfriend back home on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of The Bachelorette) was sent home first, along with Alli Travis.

While no one knows who the Bachelor Pad winner is (and no one will know before it happens since it airs live in September) we do know the final four are Michelle, Graham, Michael and Holly.

I’m personally very excited to see the relationship bloom between Michelle and Graham (she mentions him all the time on her Twitter now) and to see if Michael and Holly decide to give it another go.

The first immunity challenge of “Bachelor Pad” season 2 features contestants paired up and hanging over a bed. The girls cling on for their lives, their legs wrapped around a guy. Michelle Money is the first to fall off. She had been holding onto Ames Brown.

Next, Ella takes a tumble from Justin “Rated R” Rego. So, out of Kasey Kahl and Vienna Girardi battling it out with Jake Pavelka and Jackie Gordon for the first “Bachelor Pad 2” immunity, who do you think wins? You’ll have to tune in August 8 to find out as the trailer doesn’t show the results.

But we do know that before the premiere is over, Vienna Girardi is in tears, complaining that Kasey Kahl is not protecting her. He in turn complains about her flirting with all the guys. It’s obvious from the start that Vienna is not over Jake and the way he stuffed her around. She even had to have cosmetic surgery to recover her confidence!

“Bachelor Pad 2” promises to be better than the first as former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants battle it out for another chance at love and a $250,000 cash prize.

Host Chris Harrison says the new season “is incredible and will far surpass anything we came close to producing last summer. From start to finish this show will entertain like never before.”

That’s a pretty big promise to make. So who can we expect to see on Bachelor Pad 2? Former “Bachelor” couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi have signed up. They got engaged on the 14th season of “The Bachelor” but later dramatically split, so the fireworks between those two should be worth seeing.

“I hope she falls 3,000 feet to her death, “Jake Pavelka once said of Vienna Girardi.

This season should be especially entertaining as Vienna is currently dating Kasey Kahl from “The Bachelorette.” “Bachelor Pad 2” will so feature Ali Fedotowsky, whose love Kasey was previously competing for.

Other former contestants who will appear include: Gia Allemand, Ella Nolan, Michelle Money, Jackie Gordon, Melissa Schreiber, Alli Travis, Erica Rose, Holly Durst, Michael Stagliano, Kirk DeWindt, Justin “Rated R” Rego and Graham Bunn. Also, William Holman, a recent Ashley Hebert reject, will compete in “Bachelor Pad 2.”

“Bachelor Pad 2” premieres Monday, August 8 at 8/7c on ABC.

Excited much yet?

The Bachelor Pad star Girardi revealed that she had the surgery on July 15 and is still recovering.

She decided to undergo the surgery because she thought it would give her more confidence in herself and the way she looks. Vienna said she questioned herself when she looked in the mirror and did not like what she saw. However, following the nose job surgery, she’s now looking forward to seeing her reflection when she is fully healed.

Right now, Girardi explained that it has only been a few days since her surgery and she confessed to being “in a ton of pain.” But she is keeping her spirits up by looking forward to seeing her new nose. She hopes that will increase her confidence and improve the way she feels about herself.

The rhinoplasty was performed by Dr. Franklin Rose, the plastic surgeon father of her Bachelor Pad 2 co-star Erica Rose.

Girardi said that Erica and boyfriend Kasey Kahl are taking good care of her while she recovers from the surgery.

This is not the first time the 25-year-old has reinvented her appearance. She unveiled a new look in September 2010 to mark a “new beginning” in her life following her split from former fiancé Jake Pavelka earlier that year.
