Survivor: South Pacific Votes Off

Coach talks strategy and bad mouths Jim once he is voted off. He is getting cocky without appearing he is too cocky. Nice. But Whitney and Dawn are on to it and hope the rest of his former tribe realizes how stupid the whole plan is –since they obviously all can’t go to the final two!

Coach continues his monopoly and has the tribe doing yoga on the beach. Cochoran admits he is drinking the Coach kool-aid being offered. He even says he has to obey the father of the group. Coach says Albert and Brandon are acting squirrely and he hopes it won’t be a broadside on him. Hmmm.

Keith, Ozzy and Jim all have to compete to stay in the game. They have to balance poles on the top of their hands.

Only one stays in the game. The two losers become the first two people on the jury. Does this have Ozzy written all over it? The guys hang in there for quite a bit and look focused. Who will stay in the longest? Jim drops out. Keith is starting to sway…will Ozzy last longer? They are both moving around a bit. Keith drops and Ozzy stays alive in the game.

Ozzy preaches that he is eating fine and gaining strength. He can’t wait to meet the rest of them on their way out…nice.

Cochoran and Dawn have a chat. Is he willing to switch sides again, in order to get further in the game?

Time for a challenge. The players have to balance rice in a bowl on top of their bed and then get the most in to their dish at the end of the trail first wins. And they have to go over a balance beam too. Dawn, Brandon and Sophie make it across and Whitney is just behind them. Cochoran is struggling. Dawn is kicking some butt. Brandon, Dawn and Sophie are the only ones that have figured it out. Sophie is close…can she win? Yup. Sophie gets immunity.

There is a twist at Tribal Council tonight, but he doesn’t reveal what it is yet. Will Whitney and Dawn be saved?

Dawn thinks she will be the one going home, but she still has hope. Dawn and Whitney think their only option is to talk to Albert. So they go and talk to him. They convince him that Coach would take Edna and Sophie anyway, making him #4 at best. He seems to be with the plan to blindside Edna and get her out.

Coach seems paranoid that Albert and Cochoran are playing chess. He felt funny and I guess he had reason to. Albert goes to Sophie and explains to her the need to get Edna out. Will it throw everything out?

Coach tells Edna Albert is acting squirrely. He threatens people in his tribe that if they change, instant death. But will there be enough votes to get them off if two swing and one is voted off?

Jeff discusses all of the options the players could do. Coach says he is not running the show. Right. Then why did he say it would be immediate death for someone who would swing. But then Albert says he might just be a figurehead or his leader. Oops. Does that show how the vote will go?

The Tribal twist is not revealed yet. Voting. What’s the twist? Jeff just reads the votes and it is neck and neck between Dawn and Edna. But the tribe didn’t swing and Dawn is the one voted off. Now the twist! They go right to another immunity challenge and a vote follows. Wow!

They each have to answer questions. Wrong questions get the player out of the game. Third question and it is already down to Whitney, Coach and Sophie. Whitney and Sophie battle it out. If Whitney wins, then the tribe will have to vote one of their own out! Sophie wins immunity again!

Does this mean Whitney is going home too? Most likely. And there is three on Redemption Island again. Yup, Whitney is now gone.
