Survivor: Redemption Island’s First Redemption

Christine and Semhar get to battle it out in an effort to leave Redemption Island and get back in to the game. Neither woman wants to be isolated for more time, but ultimately, Semhar loses the challenge. Christine will go back in to the tribe and Semhar is done. Coach is not so thrilled she gets back, because she was the one who admitted he was a temporary player!
Brandon decided to take his shirt off and admitted to the whole tribe at the same time that he was Russell’s nephew. Michaela was shocked and a few other people were too, even though they didn’t let on to it. He also said he is a different person than his uncle and he won’t lie about it. He wanted to get it off his chest…and Coach commended him on it.

Ozzy decided to spill his guts and shares that he found the immunity idol. He decided to share it with Keith because he thought he was trustworthy and not tell anyone…but then Keith turned right around and told Whitney. Who will she turn around and tell? You know this game is nothing but lies!

Michaela confronts Brandon and asks what he has against her. He says people don’t trust her, but he is nothing but a contradiction. Then Brandon decides to gather the tribe and talk about alliances and drama. Did he just put a noose around his own neck? Probably. Sophie said he is a loose cannon and doesn’t know if he should follow his crazy religious convictions or his bloodlines saying he is a devious jerk. Then Brandon raves about his flesh…again. What kind of crazy juice has be been drinking?

It’s already immunity time! This challenge involves water, grappling hooks, banners and racing. Looks like a lot of energy to be expelled. But…there is also a reward that includes food and drinks to replenish their energy.

Upolu and Savaii start out strong but then Savaii gets slowed down because Ozzy doesn’t have enough rope to run and get his bag. Upolu gets a good lead until Dawn takes the relay and catches them up. Neck and neck through the other puzzle pieces but they all show some wear as the swimming and the rowing of the rope is taking a toll. Coach knows how to use a grappling hook and put Upolu in the lead and they get the immunity idol and the reward.

Savaii immediately points fingers to their member who is older, saying he got tired faster and was a weak link. Papa Bear gets with Cochoran and says they are the two on the chopping block. The rest of the tribe plans to tell Papa Bear and Cochoran different stories. Ozzy tells Cochoran it is Papa Bear, but they will tell him it is Cochoran. Papa Bear says he knows it is him. Confused?

Papa Bear runs in to the woods to look for the immunity idol and he is caught looking by a couple of people. He is going to pretend to find the idol and see if he can save himself. Then there is lots of speculation back at the beach if he actually found it. He came back to the beach and put on a great show to make them think he has it. Cochoran is mad because he doesn’t want the vote to shift to him, but Ozzy is laughing the whole time because he has it!

What will happen at this week’s Tribal Council?

It wasn’t very dramatic…Papa Bear tried to fight, but there wasn’t much juice in it. He got the boot to Redemption Island.
