In the latest “Survivor: Redemption Island,”’ Stephanie was eliminated after she lost a challenge to David, who has emerged as the scheming lawyer we always believed him to be Matt won out on Redemption Island for the umpteenth week in succession, which sent the mistress of Russell’s harem mistresses, Stephanie, home in tears.
Matt had his swagger on this week. He was nothing like the tired and listless guy of last week. He couldn’t wait to dual against Stephanie and get rid her and her annoying and non-stop talk of her food cravings for good. Having lost the memory challenge, Stephanie refused to go quietly, telling Ralph that Sarita should be voted out, and Rob to watch his back with his own tribe.
Rob came out fighting, trying to rally the tribe against Phillip, which of course they were quite happy to go along with! He doesn’t help his case, either, bickering over some crispy rice from the bottom of the pot that Rob’s floozies has apparently saved for him.
Meanwhile, at Zapatera, Ralph states David is likely to swap sides at the merge now that his alliance with Stephanie and Krista is broken. Perhaps David and Phillip need to have a man-to-man chat about this odd-man-out thing. But David’s worries are soon eased as Sarita stuffed up the physical immunity challenge. He does his best to save his team but eventually Rob’s tribe is victorious. They earn a helicopter over an active volcano and a candy-filled picnic.
At Tribal Council, the tribe mates acknowledged their bad karma for throwing the challenge a few weeks ago to get rid of Russell and cite their three-week losing streak as proof. David tried to argue that Zapatera needed strong game players on their team for the merge, clearly getting at Sarita, who in turn pulled the trust card over David’s mini-alliance with Stephanie.
In the end, though, Sarita and her toothache were sent to Redemption Island with four votes to two.
