Back at Murlonio Steve thought his best chance of getting through the next Tribal Council confided in Phillip being considered a nut job. He hoped Ometepe would break their allegiance and vote against the feathered one, but it seems a vain hope, considering they’ve coped with him this long and Zapatera will be gone in a few days.
Phillip put himself in charge of how much rice Zapatera is allowed to eat, having stolen their rice in the first place.
The Redemption Island castaways all got to go to the arena to see Matt, Mike and David face-off. They had to build a house of cards as high as tall pole. Mike got there first but struggled with the last piece, before he eventually won. Matt secured second place and so kept his hopes alive but David was eliminated from the game.
That is when things got somewhat gross. Andrea discovered dirt and bugs in their rice, so it has to be tossed. Phillip became upset with Steven for not allowing them combine their rice piles. He seemed to have a point, until you remember that Phillip was planning to steal Steve’s rice.
The Survivor Immunity Challenge has the castaways building a puzzle wheel. The first six get through to the second round. Those are (in order): Rob, Julie, Ralph, Andrea, Steve, and Grant. Rob just nicks the second round from Steve for Immunity this week.
Then came the best moment of the whole show: Julie deciding to bury Phillip’s shorts in the jungle. Well, he has his pink underwear, what the heck!
Phillip stirs up yet another Survivor Tribal Council, accusing Steve is calling him the N-word.
At the vote, Julie is eliminated by the Ometepe alliance. Her vengeance? Telling Phillip he’ll never find his shorts!
So, with just two former Zapatera castaways left in the main game, it looks like Ometepe all the way. Even if either Ralph or Steve wins the Immunity next week the other will be sent home.
