Survivor 24 One World continues tonight with episode 2 and apparently “Total Dysfunction.” We’ve trawled the ‘net to find out the lowdown on what will go down tonight and we think we have some serious Survivor spoilers so don’t bother reading any further if you’d rather just find out tonight what happens.
If, like me, you like smugly stating “ah-huh, thought so…” as what you know from the spoilers unfolds on your screen before your very eyes, then go right ahead. There’s plenty to see here.
The official trailer for tonight’s Survivor: One World gives the episode description as,
“Total Dysfunction — Castaways jump off the deep end in an Immunity Challenge that requires a delicate balance. Meanwhile, a group of misfits band together, finding an unlikely leader …”
So we can expect a balance beam Immunity Challenge. Yes, we can: see our photo. The castaways have to walk across a thin beam, passing their fellow castaways, and it looks like the women have a tough time. Many fans would anticipate that the men would struggle in this one, being larger, but it seems the women may lose again.
But in the promo, host Jeff Probst says the women of Salani go from bad to worse, so they probably lose again this week.
“Right now, we look like idiots,” Nina says.
The CBS traier teases that “a group of misfits band together, finding an unlikely leader,” and that sounds intriguing.
The educated guess for what this means is that Colton turns into this unlikely leader as he utilizes a Hidden Immunity Idol to band together some of the males that aren’t part of the “in” crowd. Colton, Troyzan, Jonas and Leif seem likely suspects for this new alliance, don’t they?
There will also be tears tonight as one castaway pleads to be accepted by the others.
Eagle-eyed bloggers have noticed in tonight’s episode that the men’s shelter has a tarpaulin. So does that mean they win a reward challenge?
The previews indicate the reward challenge involves a brightly-colored woven set of ropes that the castaways need to unravel faster than the other tribe.
So it really looks like the women lose this week and it looks most likely that either Christina or Nina is eliminated.
The women are struggling at the moment but how long will the Survivor: One World battle of the sexes last? Jeff Probst has promised a tribal swap soon.
HUGE SPOILER: I don’t know exactly when the tribal swap takes place but it seems that up until that point, the men win every week and keep picking off the women. Not until after the tribal swap, when he sexes are mixed, will we see some guys go.
Tune in tonight to see Survivor: One World Episode 2 on CBS.
