Steven Tyler to Release Tell-All Autobiography in May

Steve Tyler’s autobiography will be on the shelves worldwide on May 3, 2011. In it, the Aerosmith front man and “American Idol” judge updates us from his previous memoir, published in 1997. A lot has happened since then!

In this new volume of his memoirs, “Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?” Tyler promises that he has held nothing back. That could upset quite a few people in the music industry. The second book promises to expose his experiences in the music business and other spheres of the controversial “American Idol” judge’s life.

The rocker’s most recent memoirs are a follow-up to Tyler’s 1997 book, “Walk This Way.” In the earlier book, he details his controversial, drug-fuelled and often aggressive times with the band, Aerosmith.

Now the singer is set to disclose even more shocking details of his life. A lot has happened to Steve Tyler in the 14 years since that was written. He has divorced from his second wife, clothing designer Teresa Barrick. His first wife, Cyrinda Foxe, a former model for Andy Warhol, died from a brain tumor.

Tyler has also had a raft of health problems, undergoing throat surgery and being diagnosed with Hepatitis C. And he became a grandfather, went through rehab and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

In “Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?” Steve Tyler promises to give his readers, “the unbridled truth, the in-your-face, up-close and prodigious tale of Steven Tyler straight from the horse’s lips.”

And what lips they are! Will you be sneakily checking out Steve Tyler’s memoirs in the bookshop or putting your hard-earned cash down to buy a copy?
