‘Sons of Anarchy’ Season 6 Update: Latest News on Who Joins Show as District Attorney

In a “Sons of Anarchy” season 6 update, another star has been added to the cast. reports that CCH Pounder will appear on the show as San Joaquin County District Attorney, Tyne Patterson. She encounters the violent ways of the area’s bikers, according to the report.

It reads that “Tyne will go up against SAMCRO, but it didn’t specify how. Presumably Tyne will play into the prosecution of Tara Knowles-Teller (Maggie Siff) as accessory for the murder of a prison nurse.”

Pounder’s role will begin in episode 2 of season 6. Viewers will recognize her as another “Sons of Anarchy” cast member who once starred on the “Shield.” Others include Walton Goggins, Benito, Martinez, Kenny Johnson, Jay Karnes, and David Reese Snell.

CCH Pounder has appeared on other television shows, such as “Revenge,” “Warehouse 13,” Brothers,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Avatar,” “Numb3rs,” “The X-Factor,” “Millennium,” “The West Wing,” and “ER.”

In other updates recently revealed about the show, the show’s executive producer — Kurt Sutter — recently let fans in on a tidbit that this will be “hands down the most violent season yet.”

“Sons of Anarchy” season 6 is expected to premiere either Sept. 10 or 17 on FX at 10 p.m., ET/PT. An exact date is yet to be announced.
