Sinead O’Connor Cancels Divorce: “We’re Gonna be Sickeningly Happy”

Sinead O’Connor has cancelled her plans to divorce the husband she married in December.

Make up your mind, Sinead! It’s not like you haven’t been married and divorced three times already before this. You know what to expect.

The Nothing Compares 2 U singer married fourth husband Barry Herridge at the beginning of December, but the couple separated just 16 days later.

O’Connor cited “intense pressure” from Herridge’s family at the arguments over her trip to go out and buy drugs on their wedding night as the reasons behind the divorce decision..

But just this morning, Sinead (45) took to her newly-reopened Twitter account to confirm that the couple have attempted a reconciliation and are now working on their relationship.

“Guess whohad a mad love making affair with her own husband last night Yay!!! We decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again and stay married.”

She did admit that they rushed into the wedding and even more hastily into the divorce so now they are going to slow things down and get some counseling help.

“Yay!!! me husband is a big hairy cave man an came to claim me with his club : ) and now im in cave-land.. yay!! we both go panto!” she said. That hopefully refers to a Christmas pantomime and not lots of heavy breathing. Too much information!

O’Connor previously said that being married to Herridge “felt like living in a coffin” and claimed she ended their union “out of respect and love for the man.” From the sounds of her Tweets she likes the caveman type, so long as they drag her off to bed, not their cave!
