Sharon Osbourne Speaks Honestly About Ozzy’s Addiction, He’s Been in a ‘Dark Place’

Sharon Osbourne spoke honestly about her husband’s addiction on CBS’ “The Talk” Tuesday. She acknowledged all the divorce rumors facing she and Ozzy since it became well-known he got back on alcohol — and even pills.

“The only thing that’s true is the Facebook posting that my husband did on his Facebook where he said he’s been using alcohol and prescription drugs for the last year and a half,” Sharon said on the CBS show.

Although some reports have been said to be “distorted” by Sharon, she noted one thing for sure is true.

“And that he’s been an a** and he’s been in a very dark place,” Sharon asserted. “That’s true. That’s very true.”

Sharon was shocked at learning Ozzy had been consuming drugs in addition to the alcohol.

“Everybody knows he’s been struggling with this his entire life and I never knew that he was using prescription drugs. I knew he was drinking occasionally, but I didn’t realize to the extent.”

Sharon Osbourne settled the divorce rumors, but let everyone know she’s not happy with her husband.

“We’re not getting divorced. However, am I happy? No. Am I upset? Yes I am. I’m devastated right now.”

Ozzy’s actions have affected the whole family, not just himself.

“It’s a disease that not only hurts the person that has the disease but it hurts the family,” Sharon concluded. “It hurts people that love youand we’re dealing with it.  We’ve dealt with worse and we will deal with it and this too shall pass.  Otherwise my husband will be taken to the hospital to get my foot removed from his ass.”

Hopefully Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will get back on the right track soon.
