Russell Armstrong Wife and Child Beater Claims First Wife

Russell Armstrong’s attack on estranged wife and fellow Real Housewives of Hollywood star Taylor Armstrong was not the first time he had beat up on a woman. Apparently, he was also known to hit his children in anger.

In court documents dug up by Entertainment Tonight, Russell Armstrong’s ex-wife Barbara Fredrickson claimed the late reality star “hit me … kicked me … blackened my eyes … threw crystal drinking glasses at me … and spit on me.”

The restraining order which she took out on Russell Armstrong on August 20, 2004, runs to 43 pages.

The bombshell allegations that Armstrong not only beat both his wives and his children from his first marriage come just one day after we brought you the photos of Taylor Armstrong (40) with a black eye and bruised forehead, also courtesy of Entertainment Tonight. The photo, taken in an LA hospital, dates from just a few weeks before Russell’s suicide.

Apparently, Russell Armstrong didn’t stop at beating women, either. Fredrickson stated in the court documents that he also slapped their then 6-year-old son Aiden in the face and violently shook him. Aiden was allegedly so scared of his father that he would vomit before visiting with him.

In the court paperwork, Aiden is quoted as saying, “Daddy Russell hit me in the face.”

That’s not all, though. Russell Armstrong was also arrested in 1997 on battery charges. He pleaded guilty and attended court-ordered anger management as a result.

However, Taylor Armstrong remains adamant that Russell never beat their 5-year-old daughter Kennedy and never saw her father’s aggression toward her mother.

Entertainment Online also asserts that Russell (47) sought to change his will (though never drafted the paperwork to do so) a short while before he was found dead at a friend’s home in Los Angeles on August 15. His existing well leaves son Aiden (13) with ex-wife Fredrickson, the sole beneficiary of his will. However, Russell also has a son Griffin (11) with former fiancée Milette Fields) and daughter Kennedy (5) with Taylor Armstrong.

Entertainment Online will show images of Taylor’s CT scan on today’s program and will air its exclusive interview with Taylor next Tuesday.

As I recall Russell Armstrong has been arrested for beating his ex-wife and maybe even his other kids. Supposedly Taylor witnessed her mother being beaten by her father so would be a definite candidate for being a battered spouse. Her behavior kind of struck me as typical for that; the perpetual victim being pursued out by the personality disordered bully. I think she is a fool but I don’t have any problem believing her about Russell going into jealous rages and beating the cr*p out of her. Just sayin…

It seems Tyler and Russell were in a contest to see which was the biggest victim and Russell won out with the suicide. But she is till competing for the title.
One husband on housewives said he wouldn’t see a therapist and Taylor, a young American not an older Englishman, used this to equate herself to him and become like a victim. She can turn any situation no matter how innocent into making her a victim. That is her role, victim. Of course, if you asked her she has never done anything wrong to anybody. Too typical. It makes me sick. Her husband is dead and she is till throwing him under the bus.
