Russell Armstrong Life Insurance Benefits Son, Not Taylor

It’s believed that at the time he committed suicide by hanging himself at a friend’s home in Mulholland Drive, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong had life insurance. However, the beneficiary is not Taylor Armstrong, his estranged wife who appeared in the reality TV series with him. It is one of his sons.

The beneficiary of Russell Armstrong’s life insurance policy is though to be Aiden, a son of his first marriage, to Barbara Frederickson. He is believed to be the sole beneficiary, even though Russell Armstrong also had other children, including a five-year-old daughter with Taylor Armstrong.

Suicide is covered on some life insurance policies, and so long as the policy was taken out more than two years before the date of the suicide, and the premiums were paid and up to date, the beneficiary is entitled to the full amount of agreed payout.

Barbara Frederickson says she has reason to believe that Aden was the sole beneficiary of Russell Armstrong’s life insurance policy and she is currently trying to locate the documentation that proves that.

Russell and Taylor Armstrong may have appeared to be leading a luxurious lifestyle in the reality TV series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but they were heavily in debt. And Taylor still does not know to what extent she is personally liable for the debts Russell built up before his suicide.

Russell Armstrong was found dead at a friend’s house on August 15, havinghanged himself, as the coroner’s office has now ruled.
