Russell Armstrong Beat Wife, Camille Grammer Threatened

Taylor Armstrong was once so badly beaten by her husband Russell that she had to undergo surgery. That is the chilling admission made about Russell Armstrong, star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” who killed himself by hanging in the bedroom of his best friend’s home on Monday.

Taylor told her fellow cast members that Russell Armstrong beat her so badly she had to get surgery to correct her injuries. Then when he found out that she had confided in others, he threatened Camile Grammer by email, instructing her to tell no-one of his attack on his wife.

The accusations about Russell Armstrong, which date just prior to filming season 2 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” have been confirmed by several sources connected with the show.

Just before filming began, Taylor was severely beaten by her husband, Russell. He hit her so hard in the face that he cracked her cheekbones. People who saw photos of her face after the attack called the injuries “horrific.”

Taylor was hospitalized as a result of the beating but tried to keep it a secret. She was worried “Real Housewives” bosses would fire her for being unreliable as she could not appear in public for weeks while she healed.

Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards both of whom urged Taylor to tell Bravo what happened.  But when Taylor told Russell Armstrong about her conversation with the two women and how outraged they were by his brutality, Russell sent Camille Grammer a “very threatening” email.  One source who read it said, “It was the rantings of a lunatic.”

The injuries that Russell Armstrong inflicted on Taylor were so bad that shooting on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was delayed for several weeks.
