Russell Armstrong Beat Taylor Hours Before Suicide

Russell Armstrong beat his wife Taylor up just hours before he killed himself. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star left Taylor Armstrong sobbing and terrified before he took his own life.

That shocking claim which adds further background to Russell Armstrong’s suicide, is made by Star Magazine. They revealed that Taylor (40) was so frightened by the attack by her husband that she contacted friends to help her.

Just 24 hours before killing himself, Russell Armstrong, who had previously beaten Taylor so badly she needed surgery, lashed out at Taylor after she questioned him about the couple’s troubled financial state.

This altercation took place on August 14, the magazine reports. Russell Armstrong became violent towards Taylor at her Bel Air Crest home, which the estranged couple had once shared.

The magazine claims that Taylor called two of her closest friends on the night of August 14, sobbing. “Russell hit me,” she told them.

One of the friends Taylor called says that the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was hysterical in her crying. She said that Russell had punched her in the face.

This latest, and now last, fight was allegedly over the dire financial state the former couple were in. Taylor wanted answers from Russell Armstrong about how much debt they were really in and how they could have got that way with what they earn for appearing on the show.

The friend said, “At that point, Russell snapped and punched her in the face.”

Taylor Armstrong is to hold a private memorial service on Wednesday for Russell who took his own life at the age of 47. His family will hold a separate service in Texas when Russell is interred. It’s understood that Taylor is not invited.
