Rude X Factor Host Steve Jones Would Do Anything For Show, Strips on Ellen WATCH

The X Factor USA host Steve Jones stripped off his shirt and sweater to reveal a muscular (and hair) body on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday. He said he would do anything for the show and Ellen took him at his word, getting him to shed his own clothes to wear a very low cut, tight fitting black t-shirt she had made for him, with “Watch X Factor” emblazoned across the chest and “Watch Ellen” across the back.

“”I’m game! I will do anything to ensure the success of the show!” Jones replied.

Donning the V-necked T-shirt, the Welshman joked,

“It’s a little bit low!”

It sure was! Low enough to show off his muscular and hairy chest, although Steve jokingly covered his nipples which were lost among all that fuzz anyway.

Jones has never had a problem showing his body on TV but he admitted that it hurts when people think he is rude. He caused a storm of protest recently for cutting off Paula Abdul before she had finished speaking at the end of the first live show to determine the Top 12 acts. She was giving an emotional appeal to save her act The Brewer Boys. It failed and they went home, but Steve says he was right to cut Paula off.

He said it can be difficult to appear polite when the producers are shouting instructions in his earpiece to keep the show moving. He says he feels bad he may seem rude or abrupt, and that’s not what he is really like.

His good humor returned though when Ellen screened an old photograph of Jones from his modeling days, which he tried to block the audience from seeing, laughing,

“No! No! What… Where did you get that? I don’t even know where that is from but it is hideous.”

It’s a lot better than Steve Jones in that X Factor t-shirt though, isn’t it?

The X Factor continues Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox but you can watch Steve Jones’ interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show below.
