Rob Kardashian Out To Beat Sister Kim’s DWTS Record

“I can’t lose Kim’s record on Dancing with the Stars,” says reality TV star Rob Kardashian.

Kim Kardashian appeared on Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars but only managed to stay in the competition for a measly three weeks. She may have got some great abs from all that dance training but it isn’t a very long run in the show is it?

Brother Rob Kardashian is hoping to do much better, even though he may not be anywhere near as famous as his sister Kim and Khloe.

In fact, Rob doesn’t even want to be as famous as they are. It was actually his mother’s idea that he should take part in Dancing with the Stars at all!

Following the announcement of the Dancing with the Stars full cast on Monday, Rob Kardasian spoke to Access Hollywood Live and told interviewer Kit Hoover that he had to beat the record of his recently married sister Kim on the show.

Rob (24) said he also hopes the hit ABC series will help him drop some weight, while possibly helping him work on his abs. He thinks that will improve his confidence.

“My goal is to get ripped! I’m the most weight I’ve ever been, so I really want to use this to get to the next step,” he said. I’m sure we ladies (and many men) will enjoy watching that transformation take place!

Rob Kardashian said that Kim had admitted she was petrified about taking part in Dancing with the Stars, so is he?

“I’m actually shocked that I’m doing it – I’m very low-key and really don’t like being in the spotlight, but my mom forced me. That’s the real reason I’m doing it!” Rob said.

Apparently, it was also Mom Kris’ idea that Kim took part in the show in 2008, too! And she only managed three weeks in the competition.

So does Mommy know best? We will soon see as Rob Kardashian makes his Dancing With The Stars premiere with the rest of the reality TV show cast on September 19 on ABC.
