“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, Kyle Richards, and her husband — Mauricio Umansky – attended the 8th Annual Christmas in September event benefiting the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles at The Abbey Food & Bar Tuesday night when she answered the question everyone wants to know: How did the cheating accusations against her husband on season 4 of “RHOBH” affect her at first?
“At first it was really devastating, to be honest…and I was so upset and my husband was so upset,” Kyle shared. “And I had, like…guilt because I’m thinking, ‘How did I drag this man into it who is an amazing husband and an amazing father?’ And I had a lot of guilt because of the show….you know… that he got involved with that. But at the end of the day, we know who we are, we know what we have. And you know what? We’re proud of what we have. And it’s the thing we’re the most protective of and….don’t mess with us!”
Kyle and Mauricio seem happy and aren’t letting the reports get them down. Mauricio admitted that “it’s all part of the game” being on “Real Housewives” to have upsetting reports published about them an anyone else on the show. He said also that “it sucks” to deal with that, but at the end of the day everybody who knows them, knows the real story.
The cheating accusations will be aired on “RHOBH” in season 4. That’s the drama rumored to fracture Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville’s once close relationship as BFFs.
Luckily Kyle Richards and her husband have seemingly made it through the first storm of negative press. The second wave will hit hard when the show airs.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 4 premieres Monday, Nov. 4 on Bravo.
