‘RHOA’ Season 5 Preview with Newcomer Kenya Moore

On Sunday season 5 of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” will air on BRAVO. Two new cast members will join NeNe Leakes, Kim Zolciak, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and Phaedra Parks. Kenya Moore and Porsha Stewart will jump into the drama-packed reality show with both feet.

Kenya Moore, who was Miss USA in 1993, opened up about what season 5 of “RHOA” will have in it. In her opening summary — when the show begins — Kenya says, “I won Miss USA, not Miss Congeniality.”

Kenya and Cynthia will have some tension between them on “Real Housewives.”

She shared a little of what that’s all about.

“Well, you know, we bump some heads,” Kenya said on Huffington Post. “Early on, you’re in a new environment, you’re around new ladies and you bring your own personality to the table, and you just kind of never know who you’re gonna get along with and who you’re going to bump heads with. I think it’s sort of clear from the first episode that Cynthia and I don’t necessarily see eye-to-eye when we meet.”

When it was brought up that a lot of the women on the cast of “RHOA” believe they’re the “leaders,” Kenya discussed how she and NeNe are getting on in season 5.

“The relationship is new, so we’re sort of still feeling each other out,” Kenya said. “I think you’ll see that during the first few episodes … our relationship evolves … I think some of the ladies are very territorial, so I’ll let you guess who that is.”

When it comes to one trip the “Real Housewives” take this season, Kenya admits there’s one in particular that’s sky high on drama.

Kenya went on to say, “Well we take several trips, but certainly the most eventful is the Anguilla trip. It will not disappoint. It is drama from us packing to go on the trip to us actually getting off the plane — it’s just non-stop drama, tension, everything that the franchise is known for.”

In the preview that Kenya was giving, she did admit there’s drama that will surround her, but she’s just the type of woman who gets a lot of attention. She was told that she had some drama with someone else’s man on the trip to Anguilla, but she flat out denied that by saying “…there’s no drama around me and anyone’s man. I’ll say that … but you’ll have to watch to see where those rumors are coming from.”

As for model behavior, Miss USA said there will be moments in season 5 of “RHOA” that people will see how imperfect she can be!

“I’m not perfect, I don’t act like a model citizen all the time … but I certainly felt the stress at times being in these different situations with these ladies. So you’ll see some of that. But you’ll also see the fun side of me, the great side of me and the compassionate side, and all of those things make up who I am. Hopefully you guys will have a fun time watching me take this ride.”

Watch Kenya Moore on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” when the show premieres Sunday, Nov. 4 on BRAVO at 9 p.m., ET/PT.

this poor girl kendra is very clearly desperate. There are control freaks and control freaks and I’ afraid she is going to get hit between the eyes. It is very evident that she is going after Apollo . Her boyfriend has her number and it appears he is looking beyond her body and it to her devious soul – He will escape those claws. Aollo seems to be very happy with his wife and son so it will be fun to watch her fall on her face. She has made every meeting with people a memorable one as she rolls over them like she was a queen??? ouch!!! enemies on every corner – that little rich girl had her number after their first meeting – I might take miss america off the show before she ruins her life completely and also, she is too old for a baby!!!
