Episode 11 of “Revenge” season 3 is less than a week away and after taking a holiday hiatus. Emily Thorne was shot at the end of the mid-season finale. The continuation will be the first step towards dynamics within the characters to change.
Showrunner, Sunil Nayar, shared some interesting spoilers for season 3 as the show moves forward from here.
What’s in store for Daniel Grayson after firing bullets at Emily?
“I think (Josh Bowman), in his mind, just let it go to the nth degree…Coming out of it, anybody could die on Revenge at any time, so it wasn’t an insane thing to say, but we love Josh and obviously we have plans for his character,” Nayar said.
What’s ahead with Emily’s amnesia? Is she faking it or is it real?
Nayar said, “You’ll see how we play out the amnesia storyline because, obviously, it’s quite the soap opera trope, and I think that what we’ve done with it is the way that Revenge would do it; in a way that’s extremely satisfying, that you will see in the first episode back.”
Lydia Davis showed Victoria a photo of Emily at one of their parties years ago. Victoria knows Emily is up to no good, but what kind of danger is Emily in because of this? Will Emily still see her revenge plan through against the Graysons?
“There’s no going back on that, and so we wanted to set up things so that we have a greater knowledge of who Emily is going forward, and Emily will then slowly understand that the circumstances of what she can do are now drastically different also,” Nayar shared. “[Victoria] now has the power in the relationship, which she hasn’t had obviously in the first half of the season.”
Episode 11 of “Revenge” season 3, titled, “Homecoming,” will air Sunday, Jan. 5 on ABC at 9 p.m., ET/PT.
