Rebecca Black is Back with “My Moment” (VIDEO)

Is it time cut the ‘world’s worst singer’ some slack? It’s up to you to decide as she releases her second single, “My Moment.”

After pulling her first single, “Friday,” was pulled from YouTube amid copyright infringement claims, social media hit Rebecca Black has unleashed a second song onto unsuspecting YouTubers. But is it any good?

One has to admire Black’s determination. After all, her singing has something in common with chipmunks and in this new song she treats listeners to some suspect rhymes, (rhyming cereal with bowl, for instance). She was dubbed ‘the world’s worst singer’ for her debut single, and is said to have received serious threats to her life after her YouTube debut, which seems to be going a little too far, no matter how much you may hate the song.

Are we just jealous? Is Rebecca Black just doing what we all wish we had the guts (and the money from Dad that made it all happen) to do?

Defying everyone’s expectations and resisting what must have been considerable temptation to call her follow up single ‘Saturday’, Rebecca’s new song is actually called ‘My Moment.’

So, could this really be Rebecca Black’s moment? Maybe “Friday” was just a big joke and she actually can sing like Mariah Carey? Or maybe, this new single of Rebecca Black’s is just another piece of social media-driven nonsense.

You can have a look at her new video and decide for yourselves. And be sure to tell us what you think.
