Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle and Kim Richards, Adrienne Nassif and Camille Grammer have all gven interviews for an upcoming Real Housewives episode which deals with Russell’s suicide by hanging. It is understood that his estranged wife Taylor has not been asked for an interview for the Bravo special
Bravo has not yet formally announced the special and it is not yet known when it will air.
Russell was found dead in the Mulholland Drive home on August 15 after committing suicide by hanging himself.
Taylor’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars Vanderpump, Nassif and the Richards sisters all attended Russell’s funeral in Los Angeles last Wednesday.
Bravo has announced that it will edit the new season of the reality TV show, which premieres September 5, in view of Russell’s suicide. But it is unlikely they will cut out all mention of him as his family have requested, especially as this TV special has now been filmed.
As well as concerns that Taylor Armstrong would reveal Russell’s bisexuality and numerous affairs with men during their marriage, Russell is said to have cracked under the pressure of not taking his antidepressant medication which he was prescribed to control his rages. He is also alleged to have attacked Taylor several times in the weeks leading up to his death, perhaps as late as the day before his suicide. On top of that, Russell Armstrong ran up massive debts and was facing bankruptcy. Taylor may now be liable for those debts following his suicide.
Despite these problems, Russell Armstrong’s former business partner John Indelicato has said that he was a good man. He worked with Russell at IT Trading, and told US Weekly that Armstrong (47) was a good man who was often misrepresented to the public. He was quiet and did not divulge details of his private life, which may seem a strange thing to say about a reality TV star.
“He’s not the guy that’s beating his wife. He loved his family and his wife. I really liked him. His face always had a smile on it,” Indelicato said of Russell.
Russell Armstrong was father to three children. As well as 5-year-old Kennedy with Taylor Armstrong, he had two sons, Aidan and Griffin (aged 11 and 13) from a previous relationship.
