“Real Housewives of New Jersey” is reportedly facing the possibility of being cancelled after Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, were indicted on 39 counts of money fraud this week. The couple are facing 50 years each in prison for tax fraud and various other charges involving money fraud. Teresa and Joe have allegedly hid vital information concerning their actual income, have tried getting multiple loans and mortgages from different banks, and worked the system to their advantage in an effort to get more money.
With all of this negative publicity coming to light, the Bravo network is said to be debating over cancelling “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” In fact, it’s even possible employees of Bravo might be called in as witnesses to the Giudice fraud debacle. Now it’s all one big disaster for the network.
A network source spoke with New York Daily News about the show’s fate with the Giudices’ legal troubles.
“Nobody wants to see their talent in this kind of a situation,” the source said.
“They are not interested. Bravo only spins off happy situations — marriages, baby news. Not prison,” the insider continued.
How does Teresa feel about this?
