A deeply personal and private family member will be aired on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in season 4, new spoilers reveal by RadarOnline. According to the report, Kim Richards has allowed Bravo to air footage of a family crisis involving one of her daughter’s struggle with a psychiatric problem.
It was learned last week that back in July, one of Richards’ adult children was outside naked in the street babbling to herself. She was taken away on an involuntary psychiatric hold. The girl has not been identified and likely not be included on “Real Housewives” in season 4, but the storyline will be featured.
“Viewers will see tender moments between Kim and her sister Kyle, as she supports her during this difficult time,” someone close to production, said. “Kim is handling the situation well and has stepped up big time. She is absolutely committed to getting her child help, while maintaining her ongoing sobriety.”
The report added that Richards has four children with three different men. They range in age from 18 to early 20s (Brooke, Whitney, Chad and Kimberly).
By adding this private family crisis on “Real Housewives,” the source said “Kim wants to raise awareness about mental health issues, including depression and bi-polar disorder and will probably go public with how it has impacted her family.”
As the story progresses, Kim’s daughter is getting the treatment she needs.
“Her child is still continuing to receive outpatient treatment since being released from the psychiatric hold,” the insider concluded.
