A “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star got the third degree during an interview on ABC’s “The View” Tuesday morning. As fans know, there’s plenty of hostile drama between two of the ladies on “RHOA” and one of them spoke out about it on “The View.”
Porsha Williams joined the co-hosts and discussed the incident that took place between herself and a fellow cast member of “Real Housewives,” Kenya Moore. Sheri Shepherd was noticeably unsympathetic towards Williams regarding her most recent experience during the season 6 reunion.
In case you missed it, Kenya showed up with props in the season 6 reunion — much like she did in season 5 with her fan. This time she brought a megaphone and scepter. As the arguments between Kenya and Porsha hit a boiling point, an altercation between them erupted on the set. As Moore provoked Williams by saving the scepter in her face, Williams reacted. She was charged with assault and felt humiliated by the whole experience.
Kenya accused Porsha of cheating on her husband, Kordell Stewart. Things quickly got out of hand at the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion viewers saw last week.
“Last season, I went to the reunion and at that time I was going through a divorce,” Williams said. “And um, well it was right before … she was accusing me of cheating.”
Porsha Williams said on “The View” that she’ll have to go to court. She also said that the scepter Kenya kept sticking in her face was “super-heavy.”
Sheri Shepherd wasn’t falling for anything the “RHOA” star said.
“You knew what you signed up for!” Sheri told Williams.
“This has been more than five seasons! You knew what you signed up for! When you did this show, they do this all the time!”
Porsha told Shepherd that she knew what she signed up for as being part of the “Real Housewives” franchise, but she had no idea it would wind up like this.
“… I didn’t know I was signing up on a show to end up with a mug shot— or to be bullied to that level! This woman has been bullied me and [showed] hatred toward me from day one and now she has weapons in her hand!” Porsha reasoned.
Porsha shared that it was a “horrible moment for me and immediately I was embarrassed.”
Porsha Williams said she had to contend with bullying through elementary and middle school.
Sure, it’s a rough crowd in the “Real Housewives” franchise, but can anyone blame Porsha for losing it the way Kenya Moore taunted her with props?
