Adrienne Maloof has been in the center of a huge rumor started by Brandi Glanville on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in season 3. The big “family secret” has been addressed and the exasperated “Real Housewives” star opened up about how she felt, according to a Life & Style interview.
As viewers know, rumors have spread that Adrienne and her ex-husband, Paul Nasiff, had their children via a surrogate. She claims that she was going to tell her twin sons — Christian and Colin — about the surrogacy when they were older.
“I would think Brandi, being a single mother, would have a heart and understand my feelings, where I’m coming from,” Adrienne told the magazine. “Brandi took away something so precious from our family. Brandi did destroy our family. Right now I’m really hurt and upset, especially because I’ve stuck up for Brandi as a mother in the past.”
As for Brandi, she doesn’t feel she did anything wrong by spilling the Maloof family secret.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what I said. We all knew it already,” Brandi said. “She would always lie about it. It’s not that big of a deal. They’re still your children, just somebody else had to carry them.”
While Brandi has a point that it wasn’t a big deal Adrienne Maloof had her children through a surrogate carrier, it’s the fact she chose to expose something she didn’t want revealed. Not only that, it was the way she did it. There an intention to get even just because Brandi didn’t like the fact Adrienne wasn’t willing to tell the world about it. Perhaps she could have used better judgment in thinking about how Adrienne and Paul’s children would feel learning about this through her and the media.
