Princess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge has lost a noticeable amount of weight before her run up to her royal wedding to Prince William. She may also have lost weight since her April wedding, whether that is through dieting or stress. Many people are worried about that wait loss but it seems that for another group of people, it is making Princess Kate a role model.
Controversial websites promoting anorexia have championed Kate (formerly Kate Middleton). Always slender and looking more so because she is so tall, the Duchess of Cambridge is estimated to be a UK size 4 (US size 2 or X-small) or smaller.
Kate Middleton always used to be slim, but she used to be a size 10-12 UK (8-10 US). Now it is believed she may even be a US size 0. She has had such dramatic weight loss that he has had to have many f her clothes altered. As we know, the thrifty princess likes to wear her clothes again and again as ordinary citizens would do.
Designer Vivienne Westwood might not like her thrift but with few of us being able to throw away our clothes after wearing them once, we sure do!
Due to her big weight loss, Princess Catherine is viewed as a success story on websites advocating anorexia. They offer tips to people who are in the grip of eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia.
However, these websites see anorexia as a good thing and the ultra-slim, emaciated look as beautiful. Now, with Kate Middleton seen as one of the most beautiful women in the world by some, following her wedding to Prince William, are bound to find strength for their opinions.
However, friends of the Duchess of Cambridge told The Mail on Sunday that
Kate will be horrified to learn that she’s become a role model to anorexics.
They admit she is very slim but strongly deny she has an eating disorder. They blame stress and travel for her recent big weight loss.
Kate’s sister, Pippa Middleton also features on some of these pro-anorexia websites. But she is not attracting as much attention there as Kate. Some people are posting in response to their photos and saying they are jealous how much weight the Middleton sisters have lost, as charted through a timeline of photos.
Other celebrities celebrated on these pro-anorexia websites include Victoria Beckham and Mary-Kate Olsen. They are also presented as role models on the sites.
